what are the recommended specs to run this game? at least on medium settings, high settings preferred but either way don't care, because i am building an i3 computer with 8 gigs of ram, and a GTS 450 (or perhaps a GTX 460) i forget what i ordered. its a nice lil budget computer.

no since the campaign game is turn based and takes a very long time to win. You can only play battles on multi player.

you clearly know nothing about computers. intel core i7 is the most advanced processor in the world it is ten times as good as a pentium processor. it is quad core and has hyper threading pls dont answer these questions if you know nothing about computers!!!!!

google search "can u run it?" go to the first or second result, it asks for permission to get your specs, your virus software will prompt you to block it, say no. it has a huge list of games to chose from, and the site will tell you if your comp can run it at all, also says if you can run it on max i do believe

Dont go dell, for good computers for cames ibuypower . com is really good, that's where i got my first one for 700$. then later you can just upgrade certain parts instead of buying a whole new one :)

Don't get me wrong i love total war games but watching someone else play a campaign for ten - twenty minutes is one of the most boring things i've ever had to experience lol. On a more positive note i can't wait to get the game and have a go myself (Y)

nah it's already been diagnosed with a problem with the psu lol it needs a replacement really but ah well i'm gonna get another, better one to help me play this game because this comps a bit of a gimp and doesn't load total war discs , if you put the discs in nothing happens the disc drive just doesn't read them.

All of them are fantastic if your interested in strategygames or warhistory. ofcourse the graphics are different. Empire is the newest so better graphics. But all the total wars have good gameplay

i know how it will happen....intrigued.well if anyone has played tom clancys endwar the u would know that they would probly spread outr what faction the people could be to make it even.then everyone would played normaly. then at the end of a 24 hour period they would average all players movements to make the new world campaign map.or sumtin like that..IDK whew alot of typin my fingers are cramping...damn!

what i did is go back to the realtailer get new copy then i did the steam bit what took 5 whole days to install and when i install it it was univalible so i renstalled it and it took one day to work. i had to be very patient btw steam is crap

Ya, i just bought a new video card, i had to do alot of research to know what will work on my pc, and what will run the game smoothly at the same time, and make sure it's cheep enough also. Very timey, very confusing stuff for me. But i finally figured out about the nvidia 9400 gt with 1gb of video ram and learned it was a pci-express card and that i had one pci-e slot on my motherboard unused.. also it was about $60 (i got the *70 for 2 day shipping =D) haha

Sweden is really agressive in this game they were the first people I went to war with in my Campaign, but I made peace with them. Now I'm at war with France and Spain. I've pretty much destroyed France in America and I'm building an invasion army in England =)

Ive had a few.. mainly crashes.. Ive looked around & found some help on the Steam forums.

I just disabled SLi and it seems to have fixed it.

There are a few more bugs out.. but help can be found on the steam forums.

Thanks for the great video, but I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't engage the Caribbean pirates. It was a good 40/60 battle. If you'd gone in for the quick sea battle, you probably would have come out victorious -- and in new possession of a ship or two. Next time, please try!
