  • OOOMOTHERFUCKINRAH!

  • Im joining all because of #42 jk but im still joining

    OOO FUCKIN RAH

  • ORAH!!!!

  • once a Marine, always a Marine.

    Semper Fi!!

  • GIVE HIM ONE!

    KILL!!!!

  • OOJRAH!

  • I like number 20 and 21

  • 15 people are communist, nazis, anti-american...you know where im going with this.

  • WHO EVER DISLIKED THIS IS NOT AMERICAN!!!!

  • errrr, a lot of these "reasons" are pretty shit. wtf is that shit about bumper-stickers for christ sake? And that shit about their snipers doing 1 shot 1 kill, um thats like what ALL fucking snipers are trained to do. Everywhere on the planet. That's not a reason. Being nicknamed a "jarhead" is NOT a reason to like the corp. The only people that would like this video is marines...

  • @MrKuntlips 1 shot 1 kill does apply to all snipers, but only Marine Scout Snipers do it from 1000yrds without fail

  • 42. Dirt...

  • marines are the navys men department

  • Thanks for this, I love it! I have a stepson at MCRD SD right now, graduating in December. I'm very proud of him and can't wait to see him as a Marine.

  • seals got a pretty sweet emblem as well

  • John Wayne for President!

  • @idonthaveachair HAHA NOTTTT!! CHESTY PULLER FOR PRESIDENT ALL THE WAY!

  • @idonthaveachair @xxblackyburnzxx no R Lee Ermey for President

  • @cowboymarchingband1 I'm sorry sir, R Lee Ermey is a great Marine but he has NOTHING on Chesty

  • @xxblackyburnzxx I agree

  • @implaxis The USMC monument is in Arlington, VA. I know, I'm a Marine that used to live there.

    18. What about the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the Star-Spangled Banner. My favorite tat.

  • 1 Reason to love the Marines Corps: We are Badass Hardcore Motherfuckas

  • Pay day!

  • hey i just EASd 10 days ago. This video still motivates great job in recognizing those who laid down their lives. It is these men that gave the Corps her reputation.

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAH

  • I love numbers 12, 25, and 38.. snipers are flipping amazing!(:

  • Not to be nitpicky or anything but the dummy wearing the blues at 0:45 is an imposter. He's wearing the daggone SNCO belt buckle but only has 3 chevrons...thus should only be wearing the NCO belt buckle.

  • @usmclss0481

You are correct! If you can see, the jackwagon also had one collar emblem incorrect which I had to cover up with an annotation. Who dressed this guy? I should have seen both of those right away. Unfortunately I can't change the pic without replacing the entire video.

  • @implaxis the pic at 45 was taken from a ribbon replacement site. like ya know if you loose one or damage it, along with those medals as well. grunt.com has e'm

  • At the very end, does the (Fmr) suppose to mean former? Remember theres no such thing as a former MARINE.

  • @DeltaTeamSTARS

Just shorthand for "Formerly active duty" vs. e.g. "Retired". "Ex-Marine" is the term we don't use.

  • Chesty Puller! I love one of his quotes "They're on our left, they're on our right, they're behind us, they're in front of us, they can't get away this time"

  • 102. Marine Artillery "One shot, 10 kills, 5,000 yards"

  • Who would ever dare to dislike this video?

  • 42. DIRT!

  • what about the Brute in famous marines?

  • god loves marines...st/ Heartman

  • Marine Snipers..

Stay low, move fast, kill first, die last, not luck, just skill

  • 9 people gotta get motivated

  • Very good work on the video. I am going to watch this again and comment on it again when I am a marine.

  • SEMPER FI

  • Oorah

  • SEMPER FI!!!!! OOOORAAAH!!!!

  • gimme that old marine corps spirit cause it's good enough for me!

  • OORAH!!

  • cant wait to go to BOOT CAMP!!

  • @mistermexxico i miss bootcamp!

  • OORAH to my corp

  • @usmcdc ERRRR!!!!

  • God bless the United States Marines......

this country may be shit.. politically.... (it is right now. theres no argument against it)

but I seriously love you guys with all my heart for protecting this country...

my brother is a marine. and he shares the details of what you guys go through to protect this country. thank you. you're all in my prayers. and you're always thought about.

I love you guys like my brother. thankyou again. I wish i didn't have asthma so i could join you..

  • why do the marines have only one over seas base and thats in japan when the army has bases everywhere is it cause the marine is not somone you want in your country unless theres a war etc please answer ASAP...

  • With all due respect as a former Marine I thoroughly enjoyed this video except for the fact that John Glen was not the first "human" to orbit space, he was the first American to do so. The distinction of first human in space goes to the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. In fact John Glen was the third American in space the previous two did not orbit the earth.

  • im proud to be a corpsman, i want orders to 2nd MEF, dont know specifically where.

  • lmao favorite part: Drew Carey!

  • Loved the VID. You did a great job on it. Love ya my fellow brother. OOHRAH!!!!!!!

  • OORAH i leave feb 1st

  • It's a devil dog not a bulldog!

  • @honorthefallen11 I thought the same thing first time i watched this

  • @honorthefallen11 No the bulldog is the mascot. devil dog is the nickname

  • So when I first enlisted and was in the DEP (Delayed entry program) I asked my recruiter, so have you ever had to retreat from the enemy when you were in Afganistan? He replied "What the hell is retreat?"

  • @FilipinoD4Life OOHRAH "Death Before DisHonor"...the only Order I'll ever disobey is "Retreat".."Courtmartial my Carcass"!!!!

  • @FilipinoD4Life haha funny story i asked the same thing to my recruiter... " Have you ever had to retreat?" he said: "retreat? were not the french were the damn marines!!"

  • oorah!

  • Payday should of been last on the list. I look at what i get for 12 hour work days all week and i feel like crying.

  • My son is due to graduate from boot camp at the end of the month and I have a big party planned for him. Would it be possible to get a copy of this presentation to show at his party. This explains so much about the Corp. I would be willing to pay a fee. Thank you in advance. Joe Brocato. jsphbrct246@gmail.com

  • reason number 102 why to love your Marine Corps: Your DI tells you to do so...

  • Things I love about the Marine Corps...

1.They have the most physically demanding training

2.Their dress blues would make me look f'in awesome

3.They have the best heavy infantry unit on this earth

4.Everybody even POGs are trained as infantry

5.They're amphibious shock troopers meant to take advanced, but smaller tasks than army

6.They have the best cadences (my opinion)

    7.They're their own thing

  • Be there

  • I feel honored to have been born on November 10th. I will soon be th

  • The Marines have a lot of mottos... and nicknames.

  • Back In 1775, My Marine Corps Came Alive! (:

  • Chest Puller was never awarded the medal of honor?

  • 20110906 MCRD San Diego MOS 03xx (Active). Cant wait to be one of the Few!

  • @chris33456 hollywood Marine

  • Not a Marine, but love the Marines. I was looking for the following 3 in your reasons but didn't find them: Toys for tots (the Marine as Santa), Gibbs from NCIS (the coolest TV character?), and a bride being spanked by the Marine sword at the end of the arch (this one might fall under the Marine spouse). Still love the reasons though.

  • If theres a successful terrorist attack on Christmas i'm enlisting, end of story.

  • @nollid0331 not to be a dick but they all fight for the same country and have the morals, the Marines are just more elite and harder to join than the other branches, (not including the Navy's, Navy Seals they are the U.S most Elite Special Forces and the worlds best trained soldiers).

  • @deltaenforcer93 I know that, i just want to be a marine, plus they're first to fight

  • @nollid0331 no problem buddy, im joining the Marines next year! gotta love the Corps

    Semper Fi

  • @deltaenforcer93 Semper Fi

  • @deltaenforcer93 I'm going to point out that you are talking about the Marines and the S.E.A.L. teams. Marine is earned after boot camp, S.E.A.L. trainning is and advanced series of trinning. SO the Navy already had the sea air and land stuff in the Corps itself. The Marines are the best basically trined force on the planet. If you would like to compare the S.E.A.L. teams to something like Force Recon...but then you cant, there is none. Sempir Fi.

  • @AjunkoMilitak Russian VDV & Spetsnaz are better trained than both FR Marines & reg Marines. The US Army trains FR Marines,so whatever Army is,Marines are too. And lastly the Marines aren't big enough to handle all those tasks, nor have they ever carried their own combat ops before, they just follow the Army. The "First to fight" slogan isn't even accurate, this ain't WWII anymore. I have respect for them, but this video just shows what "looks" cool about a Marine.

  • @25Milimeter Well, that is one opinion...I wonder where you get your trainning information? Are you even on active duty, or have you ever been?

  • @AjunkoMilitak I get my info on Military from war Vets, and me myself is a cadet who deeply hates bias & bullshit/PR,so I'm more educated than your average civilian.

  • @25Milimeter Ok, you are entitled to your opinion, but till you serve, you don't know.

  • @AjunkoMilitak What I suggest you do is look up possible war Vets claims, cause thousands of people out there pretend to be war Veterans, and haven't served even one day,not ONE day & make up shit.

  • im gonna show this to my buddy who wants to join the army :)

  • spelled OORAH wrong

  • im irish and joining the marine corp in 380 days 15 dec 2011 ooo fucking raaa

  • I cant wait till my chance

Leaving for the Island July 11th 2011

    OORAH

  • @gumballofdoom i was in paris island....have fun =)

  • The Corps is older than the United States itself. The U.S. Army is 5 months older than the Corps. Before the Corps came into being, the Army fought the battles of Lexington, Concord, established the siege of Boston, fought the Battle of Bunker Hill, captured Ticonderoga, and invaded Canada.

  • semper fi.. baby 1988 marine corps 1st batalion oraaaaaaaaaa........

  • @AironV you fuckin bet

  • 6:51 Fucking craziest thing to say.

  • @leddivog by that you mean..most moral boosting/inspiring/bad ass thing to say?

  • Great video. Happy 235th Devil Dogs

  • The US Marine Corps, the best and toughest Sons-of-Bitches ever to grace God's green Earth! God Bless the Marines!

  • As the grown daughter of a Marine, I was raised to respect the flag and our military, love my country, and appreciate my freedom. All the while, knowing who made it possible - US Marines, with assistance from Army, Navy, and Air Force. Haha, good hearted joking my dad always made.

  • love the video but did anyone else notice at 3:27 he says every marine is a rifleman but the picture is of marines firing shot guns lol =P

  • my grandpa was DEVIL DOG

  • I'm SOOOO MOTO right now, I leave for bootcamp in 10 days.

  • all i can say to this is OOHRAH

  • DIRT!! LOL

  • Another celebrity-Jonathon Winters (also portrayed a retired gunny in his last tv show), on Hollywood Squares he was asked about the Navy having to shoot down their own missile. He responded that he had been in the Marines and the Marines would have just reached up and pulled the missile down with their bare hands.

  • Once a Marine Always a Marine. Greatest fraternity in the world! oohrah!

  • I like the quote from the General, before the Invasion of Falujah "The dogs of Falujah will eat hearilty upon the remains in the street tonight"

  • my favorite marine quote after a comanding officer was told in vietnam that they where surrounded on all sides the commander replied good now I can shoot in any directions fuckin pricless

  • Thank you , to all who served in the military. God bless

  • OOHRAH......... SEMPER FI..........TO ALL MY FELLOW MARINES KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO !

  • hope you now medals are not won, they are not a prize to win they are earned for bravery and sacrifice on the battlefield

  • OOHRAH! SEMPER FI

  • Well first off i wanna say good job, im definitely downloading this. This was really inspiring, im enlisting in two months and this makes me want to earn the title even more. I want to be a part of the brotherhood and experience everything the Corps has to offer. Semper Fi

  • @metalskater2 Thanks, recruit! My advice, start running to get in shape. A lot. You will enter Boot Camp at an advantage if you do.

  • @implaxis I to an joining in about 2months I run 6mi 5days a week and work out. Is that enough running and is there any exercises I should be focusing on.

  • @jrrdking honestly you dont do alot of distance running in rct training, you will run an ist when u arrive a mid cycle pft and a final pft and probobly a cft, the pt u do there will consist of shorter but more intense excersises pushups, squat thrusts, buddy drag/fireman carries :( , sprints etc so building up overall endurance will help u greatly, but dont neglect the psycological preperation, stay sharp, BE LOUD

  • @deltakilokilo thank u very much I have been dooing alot of incline push ups every time i work out, I feel I am as mentaly prepared as I can be but then again i hear pep say that and are very wrong when they get there. i do alot of situps to but not as much as as the other stuff r they a importiant aspect of training as well? u didnt seem to inthosed about buddy drag and fire arm carries is there any thing I can do to prepare for that exept dragging a friend around :)

  • @jrrdking sit ups are solid a strong core will assist u in almost eveything youll do there, o course confidence course mcmap all that jazz, working ur quads will help with drags, practicing how to grab and lift ur partner will help alot with firemans carries, youll come to realize the physical aspect is just a small piece the mental changes, ur self confidence, personal pride and realizing ur capabilites those are the things that will stick with u a lifetime, you can do this just stay focused

  • @deltakilokilo I appreciate the advice I been wanting to do this for quite some time and I no I will reach my goal and earn the tittle because i will never give up. I m very pumed cant wait wish i could leave 4 mcrd right now. It will be soon tho again thanks

  • @metalskater2

My son is graduating from Parris Island next month. We are so proud of him! Run, do pull-ups, push-ups, prepare yourself! and, as a Mom of a soon to be Marine,, I'm proud of you! OOORAH!

  • @metalskater2 GOD BLESS YOU ... YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY PARYERS AS ARE ALL MARINES PAST AND PRESENT ... NEVER NEVER FORGET YOU ARE HONORING YOUR COUNTRY BY YOUR SERVICE ... SEMPER FI ... OOHRAH !!!

  • my brother is joining the army and i said y not the marines and he said cause the marines are d bags and i said no they have courage and honer....semper fi

  • While interviewing a Marine sniper, a CNN reporter asked "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?". The Marine shrugged and replied "Recoil."

  • @thenewchance Snipers, gotta love em.

  • @thenewchance Damn aha thats badass.

  • Raised by Navy man, sister to Army man, standing by a man who surpasses them all, one who is, soon to leave, for boot camp for Marines. Hoping for 61, followed by 55 and 56. I wish all of those luck that wish to join the Marines, I thank all of you that are serving or have served and will keep all of you in my prayers.

  • @yeastori Yay,DIRT!!!!!!

  • Oorah. Future Marine.

  • Thank you for clarifying.... Rifles are not g-u-n-s they are rifles. Guns are tools used to mass produce future Marines. Not shooting other men. This isn't the army.

  • With the pictures of Marine Heroes should be a picture of Col. John W. Ripley (deceased). Although his incredible 32 years of service to the Corps is most often linked to his destruction of The Bridge at Dong Ha (Book by the same name and most recently his Vietnam story and the story of other great Marines told in the book Ride The Thunder),and his induction into the Army Ranger Hall of Fame as a Marine should tell you something about the respect he holds with all Military Branches. RIP Col.

  • lol 42-dirt!
