you dont get any fees for having an EDD Debit Card. You should zoom in to the schedule of fees and you will see that there is no fee for using the card. I want my food stamps to be in a McDonalds card that way i can be fat like you!!!!!!
@maryvannotes I have one of these cards if ur using a BOA atm its free for these edd card if ur using it at any other atm other than BOA u get charged i believe one dollar

Marry I feel for you I was once unemployed for 9, almost 10, months so i know how that feels. it's not easy for people who have jobs to understand what that's like. Especially since we don't know your circumstances. There could be factors that no one knows about and for people to assume that everyone who is unemployed is lazy is incredibly arrogant and rude of them. Instead of a check, you could go down to your bank, withdraw the money using the card and deposit into your own account without a fee.

I've been unemployed, this time around, for eight months. This is the worst it's been. Before that, I've been sporadically employed for over three years. I'd work somewhere for a few months & then get laid off, then be out of work a few months, then get something. Every time a new claim starts they keep lowering my benefit amount because I haven't been working.
CalFresh payments are on similar cards that are accepted at McDonald's.
