I had tickets to both shows, but many were pushing and shoving for autographs with no intention of going to the shows. I know if I were to see Chrissy at an airport, I would be very hard-pressed not to want to tell her how much her music has meant to me for nearly 26 years of my life. But, I think my instincts would tell me to leave her alone to live her life, and I would be content with the thrill of seeing her in-person, just being herself. She's got more sex appeal than Britney, Paris, Paula, and Ashley put together, precisely because she doesn't mug for the cameras and the tabloids.

Here's some irony. A buncha years ago I saw The Pretenders on a stage in a GYM in Ga.

The opening act was Iggy Pop. Christie came out and kissed the deck and said she had to kiss the stage that Iggy Pop erformed on. She might no remember that... or forgetting the words to "My city Was Gone" great show. great folks. She just real people ya'll. Just plain folks. Gotta love her.
