Interesting video - what is connection between Deftones and Duran Duran? I remember Duran back in the Eighties - I never thought New Romantic could bear any relation to Heavy Metal (which I also liked at that time). That was until I heard the Black Sabbath song Junior's Eyes from the last Ozzie album Never Say Die - it sounds amazingly like Duran Duran. But these bands are both from Birmingham, England, maybe that's the connection. Deftones are one of greatest rock bands today.

I actually like this version best, out of the original Duran Duran version, Deftones' studio cover, and Jon Davis' version. My reasoning being this one is more somber, droning, and brooding; perhaps it's inadvertent, but the effect it gives off is regret, which seems to fit this song.

But that's just my opinion, and to each their own.
