the only reason they only weent for one episode is because the saved by the bell producers didnt really want an interracial couple thing going on but we all know that mark-paul loved her and lark loved him and it sucks that they didnt last longer and they should have and we alll know that whether we like it or not!

I can imagine it does. the original characters were funny, exciting and they were all attractive kids. from the posters and stuff I've seen of the new class, they don't seem like they have those qualities. Plus I've heard that they didn't have a "Lisa" character, that sucks. But another great show/soap is beverly hills 90210.

@NeYobabymama10 Well, I bought the COMPLETE series of New Class on dvd off eBay years ago and though not as good as the original SBTB, it had SOME good seasons but a LOT of cast changes EVERY season! SBTB: TNC did have for two years a character named MEGAN JONES played by BIANCA LAWSON who was a hybrid of Lisa & Jessie i.e. she's the smart girl but she's constantly being pursued by "WEASEL" WYZELL aka New Screech just like Lisa for season 1.
@dh1173 Yea. I like everything about Lisa's character especially her interest in fashion, which Megan didn't have. That's what I meant by not having a Lisa character. But not saying it isn't worth watching. I haven't seen it, wish I could see it before I think about buying it though.
@NeYobabymama10 Oh, okay...well in way they DID with the RACHEL MYERS character played by SARAH LANCASTER for seasons 2 thru 4 was the fashionista but as through as Lisa was. If you ever DO decide to purchase the series season 2 is probably the best as far as story content and surprisingly they actually made Screech act more MATURE than in the remainder of the series. Also Zack, Lisa & Slater made a cameo in the season as well.

@dh1173 Yea. Amazon has saved by the bell, the original season and the new class, and california dreams. But I don't think they have hang time, or usa high. But I usually get all my electronic stuff from them because it's easier to distinguish the new stuff. Not meaning to sound crazy but I just like all my thing to be new. @Nikn27 Well, I liked Zack and Lisa better. :) I think Zack and Kelly's relationship was a little overrated. I loved Kelly as well as I did the other girls, I just hate how everything was centered around her. It was mostly about her rather than lisa, jessie, and kelly. I hate how they acted like lisa didn't have everyday problems like most teenagers but kelly was this lovely sweet girl who was always in trouble. that sort of annoyed me.

The show was watched by mostly white kids. You really think producers (at that time) were going to showcase a white guy with a BLACK WOMAN??? I mean, even when Jessie & Kelly left, and they brought in Tori, they refused to pair Zack up with Lisa, who, in my opinion looked a hell of a lot better than Tori. Zack was the pretty boy. No way in hell he would realistically date Tori who looked more like a lesbian. BUT, as long as she was white, it worked.

Yeah, either they had Lisa with black guys, or no guy at all. The part that got me, was that she was the PRETTIEST one and they always had her as the "can't get a man" type of girl. When we know that realistically, guys would be beating down her door! Hell, I'm a girl who's NOT gay, and I thought she was freaking gorgeous! Too bad producers didn't think so. Then they paired Slater with that squared ass nutcase Jessie! They weren't believable as a couple at all.

All the years SBTB was on, WE (the audience/fans) didn't know Mark and Lark EVEN dated...I, too wish Zack & Lisa dated for more than episode! You can definetely see SOMETHIN' was going on during seasons 2 through 4! Now that they're BOTH divorced who knows?
@NeYobabymama10 Although I loved SBTB, I HATED how Lisa was treated storyline-wise during seasons 1&2...but they made up for it during the later years though. After Kelly cheated on Zack, I couldn't stand the character until the College years.

I wouldn't have dated the character Lisa (too much make-up, nail polish, stuck up), but I would have dated the actress Lark. Lark is way hotter than Lisa. She didn't look as awesome in a one-piece swimming suit on the show as she does here in a bikini. Normally I would have chosen Kelly/Tiffany but in a bikini it would be a very difficult choice, probably leaning toward Lark. Also I'm white and she seems to like white guys more in real life than on the show.

@NeYobabymama10 I think they were trying to show that there are black princess snob type girls just like other races. we have our elite and our clueless chicks just like others. And it went against type casting. Back in the day, that's when TV was really showcasing a diversity in African-American culture. You had you shows that had a variety of us from all walks of life. Lisa was the first Hilary Banks of the new generation.
@Vitaluv Actually, they weren't intending to use a black girl for her role, they intended to use a white jewish girl but she acted the part good when they audition, which is why they picked a black girl...I really loved her character, yes she was a little materalistic but I noticed she didn't mistreat others on purpose or act like she was more than anyone which is what I like about her character...Plus she was into fashion like me :)

@Nikn27 Well, I liked Zack and Lisa better. :) I think Zack and Kelly's relationship was a little overrated. I loved Kelly as well as I did the other girls, I just hate how everything was centered around her. It was mostly about her rather than lisa, jessie, and kelly. I hate how they acted like lisa didn't have everyday problems like most teenagers but kelly was this lovely sweet girl who was always in trouble. that sort of annoyed me.

The show was watched by mostly white kids. You really think producers (at that time) were going to showcase a white guy with a BLACK WOMAN??? I mean, even when Jessie & Kelly left, and they brought in Tori, they refused to pair Zack up with Lisa, who, in my opinion looked a hell of a lot better than Tori. Zack was the pretty boy. No way in hell he would realistically date Tori who looked more like a lesbian. BUT, as long as she was white, it worked.

Yeah, either they had Lisa with black guys, or no guy at all. The part that got me, was that she was the PRETTIEST one and they always had her as the "can't get a man" type of girl. When we know that realistically, guys would be beating down her door! Hell, I'm a girl who's NOT gay, and I thought she was freaking gorgeous! Too bad producers didn't think so. Then they paired Slater with that squared ass nutcase Jessie! They weren't believable as a couple at all.

Yeah i must agree they were the best. Because Lisa was the prettiest girl and zack was the cutest guy out of the bunch. I was hoping for more than just one episode, but at least we can be glad they gave us something. I really love the end of the wedding thing when Lisa saying goodbye to Zack and he hugs and kisses her on the forehead. I'm glad she didn't end up with the nerd

@NeYobabymama10 Although I loved SBTB, I HATED how Lisa was treated storyline-wise during seasons 1&2...but they made up for it during the later years though. After Kelly cheated on Zack, I couldn't stand the character until the College years.

I wouldn't have dated the character Lisa (too much make-up, nail polish, stuck up), but I would have dated the actress Lark. Lark is way hotter than Lisa. She didn't look as awesome in a one-piece swimming suit on the show as she does here in a bikini. Normally I would have chosen Kelly/Tiffany but in a bikini it would be a very difficult choice, probably leaning toward Lark. Also I'm white and she seems to like white guys more in real life than on the show.

@NeYobabymama10 I think they were trying to show that there are black princess snob type girls just like other races. we have our elite and our clueless chicks just like others. And it went against type casting. Back in the day, that's when TV was really showcasing a diversity in African-American culture. You had you shows that had a variety of us from all walks of life. Lisa was the first Hilary Banks of the new generation.

@Vitaluv Actually, they weren't intending to use a black girl for her role, they intended to use a white jewish girl but she acted the part good when they audition, which is why they picked a black girl...I really loved her character, yes she was a little materalistic but I noticed she didn't mistreat others on purpose or act like she was more than anyone which is what I like about her character...Plus she was into fashion like me :)
