Sorry to point this out but- This performance is from Season 8 after the Emmy nominations right? So then the kiss was planned. They talked about it last year that when they originally danced this, the kiss wasn't planned but they did it again because the audience expected it. They're not in love, they're just brilliant artists. Also, according to both Lauren and Dominick on twitter, they're the ones dating and in love for a year now. Sorry kids.

HOWEVER, the show is getting worse and worse about playing up this idea that dancers aren't just portraying the idea of a relationship or attraction, they actually find each other "hot" and have a thing for each other, actually kiss, etc. It's great for ratings, but...it's not only a really crappy thing for kids who are watching, it's also a misrepresentation of the actual world of professional dance, where you'd be considered completely unprofessional if you were like this.
