richeys comments about jesus were so true, i thought he alwasy made the best interviews...but then i heard nicky's remarks on freddy mercury. despiteme liking queen, I must admit that was so cool how he said that! i didnt know he had a bitter side to him, i thought richey and nicky were like ying and yang and thats why they got along. obviously not!

sorry if I'm repeating but my comments got wiped.....denise donlan is not a horrible journalist....this show was a godsend when I was a kid, they had bands on that you never saw anywhere else....it's still on, it may suck I don't know cos I don't have cable but back then it kicked ass, radiohead was on the new music in canada far before anything in the states.....once she left muchmusic and became a high-powered corporate music exec it went to shite and became a celebrity culture channel likeMTV

Denise Donlan (hope I got her last name right) was far from a terrible journalist.....she kicked ass on the New Music when I was a kid and once she left MuchMusic to be a high-powered corporate music-exec.....it went to sh!t.....this was once the best music show, I don't have cable so I can't say if it's still good but back then they had all the great bands on way before they got big in the US (it's a canadian show)

Nicky was saying something about that he was glad that Freddie Mercury died. I like Nicky, but that comment, kidding or not, doesn't sit well with me. I think it's in really poor taste, and also cause I'm a fan of Queen and love Freddie.

Yeh, the intereviwer is not so great here, but nowhere near as bad as that one interview with Richey & Nicky where that evil woman kept annoying Richey with a puppet, & kept telling him to cheer up and smile. Now *she* was awful!

hi Twigglesz - I did my best to translate the part where Richey talks about jesus, i broke it down in to 2 parts here. it's something to the effect of,..."cuz he's the ultimate icon isn't he? the ultimate useless fake symbol of all time, biggest waste of space that's ever been. i went to church for 13 years, never taught me anything apart from messing my brain up. the more you de-humanize jesus christ the beh-ta(better), the more it becomes like a Cambell soup tray, the better...
