@NewtypeXenocide Kids got very, very aware in the 80s and 90s. Kids as young as 6th and 7th graders had political opinions and were making them loudly known. WIth the advent of the internet in the 90s, these kids were in danger of producing another summer of love but with the force of a million modems.. This nation of retardation is a purposeful and targeted intellectual muzzling hell bent on stopping that from continuing. :( That's why all the stupid.
@NewtypeXenocide I'm not a conspiracy theorist normally... but this stupefying of people today has been so systematic and organized you can't help but notice it has been purposeful. Luckily for the instigators, most kids are so stupid they can't see it. And those who can are called conspiracy theorists.
OMG! SO SEXY! "I liked the way my hand looked on your head, in the presence of my knuckles. The beauty of this vision alone; just like yesterday's sunset... Has been perverted by the sentimental, and mistaken for love." That folks, is depth and intellect. Such things that the music of today LACK.
@boilzxys Okay, I'm a huge fan of TMV, and I'll be the first to call it 'intense,' but it's not honest. Almost every lyric starts from Cedric just murmuring gibberish and trying to intellectualize it later.
I wish they still made amazing music like this! Unfortunately they don't.. Do they even still exist? I have so many memories from their four first albums.
I remember when I saw them in concert. It was two weeks before I graduated high school and I went with my sister and some friends way back in spring '95. And right before they played this song Ed started to say the name and my sister shouted out "Iris". And Ed looked right at her and said "psychic". Damn that was an awesome show. My first rock concert and definitely one of the best! Thanks so much for posting this audio only version!!
100 years from now-they will be playing this. I never tire of the tempo change from tender to wild.
