I really love this song because, as there isn't much instrumentation, except for the piano and the strings (I think), it makes the vocals and the melody clearer, and stand out more so it hits home more directly, if that makes sense? Instead of focusing on everything else, it's sorta like an eerie, melancholy, but hopeful interlude.
