Looks like stone dust or grey sand, look at the cloud, would have to be a very soft probably decomposed rock to atomize like that so much.

We (the people shooting this day) had a 30 minut conversation about where the bullets would go and with the slope of the rock at about a 30 degree angle we knew the bullets would skip and not bounce. Now with the shotgun, that was a diffrent story...

If buckshot can ricochet so can a 9mm slug.

Buckshot and 9mm rounds have different masses and shapes, so they won't ricochet the same.

I've seen you shoot a 9mm before and was impressed. This was just plain cool. I love that the camera showed all the shells popping out of the guns. Great work!
