@cloverdale87 I'm guessing those are for the benefit of someone in the shop who doesn't wear eyeglasses; if you do, the seal around your ears gets broken by the eyeglass earpieces. Since I see Mr. White wearing glasses, I would have to presume he's using earplugs that aren't visible to us viewers.

It is an ERCo kick shrinker, with the extended jaws installed. I made the shape by shrinking rather than stretching - just for variation. kent
