  • USB has only 500mA . Can You explain me how is it possible?

  • Plug and pray, eh

  • they zoom in on a different, longer blade for the actual cutting, not to mention that the blade pictured wouldn't actually work...

  • You never know when a REAL zombie will appear while you're playing Left 4 Dead.

  • don't you get it? this is just a joke.

  • Plug and Kill =)

  • hol lehet drivert letölteni hozzá,mert az xp-m nem ismeri föl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help!!!

    :)

  • I saw a spark plug wire @ 0:23

  • where can i buy one?

  • What's the point of this shit?

  • When the zombie apocalypse comes , ima buy 2 of those , and some solar powered usb chargers and raise some hell!

(I'd prbly die after 5 minutes but , to hell with it!)

  • gee.....im soo getting one of those! ("cause if i lose in my computer i will do this:plug-and saw my computer in half! 'i always want to do that!' ")

    hahahhahha

  • Well a good thing to have in the office, more so if your boss is an asshole..)

"Fire me? Well say hello to my little friend! Wrum-WRUUUM!"

  • What is the music in this video?

  • you may not be able to run it off the 5v USB jack but you can sure as hell charge a battery off it. it will just take a while. but seriously i need one for the inevitable zombie apocalypse

  • @destructiveone66 between the USB powered chainsaw and Laptop RAN auto turrent (also found here on youtube) i think zombie apocalypse is taken care of =) "Let them come!"

  • One way to take care of the Boss who keeps saying he'll leave his wife for You...

  • Ok guys... i got one and it simply charges FROM the usb and takes a while to do so BUT!! it does cut wood

  • fake

  • lol the usb chainsaw, the power of a regular scissors

  • this is as unuseful as it get's, i think.

  • This

    is

    awesomeness

  • Comment removed

  • It can't be possible, because USB gives ONLY 5V.

  • Well thats true -> USB only supports 5V

BUT you can also charge a big and strong power-accu with it.

So finally it seams NOT A FAKE ;)

  • ill stick to gas.this has no practical use

  • ok...now give me an irocketlauncher

  • not real chainsaw

just ad. for chainsaw sound software when you print!!

  • These come in handy if you have burglars when you are gaming.

  • GET AWAY FROM MY WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!!!

  • i think its just for fun. besides, you never know when the zombie apocalypse will happen. your office cubicle may be your Alamo...

  • stop downvoting this man you fucking idiots. he's got a point. what is the practicality of this.

  • @whassup9097 um.... zombie apocalypse. you can never be too prepared

  • thats gotta be one of the most fucked up things ive ever seen...but damn i want one !!

  • Hm Bily Mays should maked it better

    RIP Billy Mays

  • Think I might get one of these for those "chainsaw your computer" days

  • Good for one of those hard days at the office?! XD

  • for example if boss is pissing u off xD u just take you Isaw and u Isaw him xD

  • Whadafuck!?

  • it consumes 87% of electricity!

  • from where u know ?

  • just look at it.. it's big, compare to a fridge that consumes less than of it's 87%

  • this is a pretty clever way of getting people to cut down on printing so much, cant believe some of you thought it was real, haha.

  • But.... why?

  • good for crazy office man want to kill his boss...

  • Looks like a marketing test to see how effective Youtube could be...

  • LMFAO!

  • Simple question.... why?

  • hhaha omg, i must have it!

  • Message taken...

    "printing unnecessarily is killing trees"

    Good job

  • meh... FAKE...

  • If it was a Dildo, you can watch Porn en play whit it.

But a chainsaw? It Doesn't make Sense...

  • Perfect for when an office is attacked by marketing zombies...

  • there is no way a power supply from a computer would be able to cut through wood or even spin the blades

  • Not true at all. There are 2kw computer power supplies now, easily enough to power many electric chainsaws.

If you'd said that about USB ports, I'd say that's close to being true but still not quite. USB is enough to power 5400 and 7200 rpm 2.5" hard drives. A similar sized disc spinning at 5400 or 7200 rpm is going to be able to cut through some wood, albeit more slowly due to the lack of torque.

  • i wirk with alot of electrical and mechanical machines i do no that a usb port would not be able to handle the amperage of a electric chainsaw, aswell as the energy used by the motor, the chain and all the moving parts the usb port just wouldnt be able to take it, anyway look at the vid, when they go for a close up of it cutting wood they cut into a different video showing just the bar itself. it could be any bar? this is a frawed and we know it so theres no use arguing

  • Oh it's faked for sure, it was revealed a day or two ago on gizmodo that it was fake.

I was just pointing out that a computer's PSU is easily enough to power a electric chainsaw and that the USB port *is* capable of providing enough juice to cut through some types of wood (albeit much slower due to lack of torque).

  • yeah it *is* capable, your right about that but its amazing to think that they were trying to gain something from this, only foolish people would get sucked into this

  • this is video is juz a tool to direct ppl to a "save the environment website".. asking ppl to cut down less trees.. lol cant believe ppl are thinking this is real..

think this idea is clever though

  • oh also notice that the user who uploaded this video deleted my comment.... because i was exposing them

  • That´s rad.

  • If this isn't bs, this is the koolest thing ive seen in awhile, why not a coffee maker?

  • they should have had this on Office Space LOL

  • dear communist toad,

we would like to conform you that we are pissed of from youtube spammers like you. so please leave youtube and simply, honestly, fuck off

  • Holy shit my prayers have been answered!

  • They seem to know all too well where you'll be in case of a burglar intrusion, an alien invasion or a zombie outbreak. Right in front of your home computer.

  • whats the song please??

  • USB sources maximum 500mA @ 5V = 2.5W. How can it cut wood?

  • You can sap more than just 5V. I've heard you can try and go for a rough 11V or so.

  • By standards, USB cannot give more than that power. You can raise the voltage with a DC-DC converter, but the current will be inverse proportionally decreased (constant power, if even less due to efficiency). I doubt 2.5W will cut such thick wood panels. I migth fail in this guess, but with a single USB port you can't definately draw more than that...

  • Well, the video IS sped up when cutting crap. Not to mention it definitely isn't the chick that's cutting the stuff, she didn't even carry a laptop with her.. xD

  • Wow looks like I need the I.Saw if there is a zombie outbreak in my town...

  • Haha. If only it were real.

  • it is real

  • It doesn't make sense for it to be real, unless it only lasts for three minutes. That, and in the video, I saw it have a spark plug, and if it has a spark plug, then it's fueled by petrol, and it's not electric, as the video leads people to believe it's real.

  • "Plug and Play" :D

  • Guaranteed to ward off home invaders.
