@FixWithFirepower Probably if you have enough money and enough space to store it MRE's and dried food can be a perfect solution. The average life expectancy in the US is 76 years. Just subtract your current age. And take off 5 years to account for the damage that those things will do to your body, and you can purchase exactly what you need. With no waste.
I had jicama? last friday. We fried it because we didn't know what else to do with it. The guy that sold it to me called it "hi ca ma" . It was the first time that I ever ate it. Funny that the same strange thing would come up twice in 50 years and both times within a week.
@MrJERICHOJIM I have trained over a hundred roosters to stop crowing in the coarse of my lifetime. It involves a tree lopper and a pot of really hot water.
try this: steam spinach with a sprinkle of salt while you brown flour(salt/pepper) in grease or butter. add water to make a thin light color gravy and stir sliced boiled eggs in it and pour it over toast or cornbread. spoon the wilted spinach on TOP of it so the extra water runs under the bread. sort of like florentine but much easier and even better. BUT the best i ever eat was at ft. polk in AIT and it was just sliced boiled eggs in cooked spinach. enjoyed the videos. thanks "adam"
@SustenanceNCovering SOS (creamed, chipped, dried beef on toast) is the best breakfast a southern boy could ever expect to get if grits are not available. people do not know how much it costs to make SOS for a family of four. i had a mess sgt who could mess up any recipe EXCEPT that one dish and it is wonderful (sticks to your ribs). i never ate a jeruasalem artichoke. i did eat some jacima?? (mexican tuber) and it is really good like a hard pear (raw).
Great video, good talk on frugality which is what I've been focusing on recently. Just a suggestion on those propane tanks, i would put those in a garden shed away from the main structure. I seen a house go up in flames with just one tank. Take care and happy prepping.
@bigoilbyebye I have actually been creating a structure for all of my gas as well as the propane for about a year now. Hopefully I'll finish it this summer.
How much gasoline do you store and how do store gasoline and keep it fresh ...can you keep it indefinatly? If I were to do what you're doing I would rather get rid of gasoline engines and convert everything to propane or nat gas. So you SSI check is a result of you military job?
@slwslw09 I keep my car full, which is about 10 gallons more or less, then I have about 16 5 gallon gas cans that I keep full. All total that is about a hundred gallons or with my car about 3200 miles. I put Sta-Bil in each can to extend it's life out beyond a year. Every year around January the first I stop filling my car at the gas station and fill from my cans. As the cans get emptied I refill and add Sta-Bil again.
@slwslw09 The infrastructure of civilization hasn't got much time left, so instead of worrying about what is the best fuel for a vehical I concentrate on living without a vehical altogether. That will be the best solution of all. After the collapse I don't see myself having any need to go anywhere. No thing that I normally travel to will still be functioning. (walmart, doctor, etc etc).
@slwslw09 I was in the military for 6 years and 2 so called "wars". When I left I had 3 ruptured disks and diabetes. I was 24 years old and was told when I left my last ship to report to the VA as soon as possible, where they would take care of me. When I got to the VA I was denied admission. I guess that is just one of their regular scams. I always say that I am on SSI, when it is actually called SSD. (Social Security Dissability) I'm not complaining. Most Veterans end up homeless.
@slwslw09 They are cool to look at, but those feathers on their feet are not practical. I butchered one with some kind of scale on his feet yesterday. I have never had that with any of my bald feet chickens.
i like almost all veggies and meats. with a pellet gun and a led light you can get frog legs and backs and eat like a king. dont even need grease. they good just warmed over some coals. gar is ok but it is dry and you might break a tooth. they got at least 3000 bones and each one has 5 sides to it. not bad tho. i would rather have a red horse sucker. i had never eaten spinach till i went to fort polk in 69. they chopped up boiled eggs in it. DAMN. you talk about good. some are even better. thx
@adamfurstman You got me thinking about another one of my mama's recipies now. She use to make spinach in a white sauce with boiled eggs sliced up on to and baked. I have malibar spinach growing here as well as a henhouse full of chickens laying eggs out there. And I know that I have at least a hundred lbs of wheat that I could grind up right now to make the white sauce.
i wonder how peafowl tastes? mama never cooked one because they served the purpose back then that entry gate security cameras serve now. except they gave an audible alarm (even it was family coming). i love guinea (hen or rooster) and they need no house or food. they can run down the fastest bug in the garden and get away from the fastest varmint during the day and they sleep on the ridgerow of your roof at night. but you AINT gonna just catch him by the leg while he is eating. thanks 4 vids.
@adamfurstman All animals taste like meat. There are different kinds of meat. Each with it's own unique little flavors to make it what it is, but all meat is edible, and all meat is good. I would love to be totaly vegan, and when I started this little project that I call my life, that was the plan. But as I have learned the hard way. Animals eat your vegetables and fruit, so if you want to eat vegetables and fruits, you have to eat or at least kill animals.
@hartz4bewegung I'm not suppose to have chickens either. The Empire has a lot of laws in place in a lot of places, including here. Somehow nobody has complained yet, but if they did I would be shut down pretty quick.
we poor "trash" who are fortunate enough to live in the fairly isolated southern states and mexico could adapt and prepare (with a lot of work). flooding is a real downside but nothing like the affluent living in colder areas especially those who live in rat nests like NYC apts. what is your idea about loss of police state in "cities"? is there any hope for them? i read in the KJV one time, to paraphrase "those that bulild house upon house, until there is no place left to be alone are SOL".
@adamfurstman I think that everybody on the planet wants to live on a big piece of property out in the forest. For me it just seems like that would be instinctive. I can't imagine wanting to live in an apartment where you are totally dependent on outside sources for all of your needs.(energy, water, food) In the Bible every time God decides to destroy a civilization he first orders his people to flee from population centers. I just think that it is a pretty good idea to never even visit a city.
Hey,sir can I ask you one question about your end of the world...My question is if the end of the world came do you think the police are going to stop the millions of poeple who ain't prepared to come and take what you got under force,,,yea you might stop two three with your gun,,but not hundreds of poeple there no point, in prepping for the end of the world cause its goona be a living nightmare..if it ever does happen,,,not trying to piss you off just my thinking sir..
@paynsterpaynster I actually believe that the end of the world is going to be us trying to protect ourselves from the police. Anybody who wants to take what I have can have it, if they can find it. I'm not all about stuff. All I want to come out on the other end with is my life.
@SustenanceNCovering WHY do i love chickens? you never find any part of the yard that is not tended. IF you protect them, they will feed and protect you.that includes shooting birds of prey (protected). protect your animals and then you (and me) have to protect ourselves from the "police". where will they be in a state of anarchy? i can tell you: stealing from others (nothing changes). please excuse my truthfulness.
@adamfurstman Chicken tastes like chicken. Hawk tastes like pot roast. Don't get me wrong, I love chicken, but it is nice to have something different every now and then. And..... if cops still have the urge to arrest people for arbitrary laws after the appocalypse, my dog will be more than happy to find out what cops taste like.
@SustenanceNCovering i love yard bird but never had hawk to eat. we were told that when they after chickens to get the 22. i have seen hawks try to drag off half grown chickens and shot them. if my "puppy" was still here and could speak english he could tell you what homosapiens tastes like. he loved goatmeat and human buttocks. he was a shepherd. they are very "protective". i like the idea of the cache and even think that it should include at least some water.
@adamfurstman My cache is actually big enough for people to live in. And I already have all my well drilling gear and another hand pump to install in the cache at the site. When done I will actually be able to pump water without coming out of my little hide out.
@kgdies I never think of myself as a picky eater, but I do have my limits. I won't eat people or kitty litter. I know that my dog will eat kitty litter, and I'm pretty sure that he will eat people as well.
@2011blueman My neighbors have dogs and cats, and I have a reputation for eating non traditional foods. I don't think any of my neighbors are even tempted to kill anything on my side of the fence.
3000 dollar for a chicken coop and a green house. Aww come on. I pay a 150 dollars for my coop and 85 for the green house. Now you cant eat a power boat.my Chicken free range. Now I do have a power boat it a 2 man inflatable raft yep 4 arm man powered boat propane. man I have 15 cords of wood. And I can cut a lot more if I need it.An yeah i have a dam great lawn mower. goats. yep they are dam great lawn mowers
@deadzeppelin I haven't had my own camera or computer for a while, but it looks like all that is about to change. Hopefully I'll be posting agian in a week or two.
@TheKatwomansrevenge I hope that I get to keep all of this. Everything is paid for but I live in a country that has eminent domain and many other laws for taking peoples property away from them.
@SustenanceNCovering ; I don't own anything but my truck and would be homeless if not for my vet friend . I live in a small town , 57 yrs old and can't find work . At least i still have my truck .
@TheKatwomansrevenge Whenever someone tells me that I live in the greatest country on the earth, I always wonder how come people think that it is alright for the land that god gave to all of us should only be distributed to those lucky enough to find a way to make a lot of money.
@SustenanceNCovering ; It is even harder when you get older , you can't find a job cause your to old . Was a time when i was to young to get work , now the tables turn , they hire some good looking chic not me . New president cut the funds for older worker program (Experience Works) was(Green Thumb) some years back , i have been out of work for some time now cause of it . My friend helps me pay my truck insurance + taxes for doing work around place , he can no longer do .
@jrwilson98 The world as most know is one where prices and availability are determined by a free market. It is a world where all men are created equal. Where everyone has certain inalianable rights. In the world as we know it anyone can become president. And wars of conquest are never fought but only wars of defense. As near as I can figure that world ended in 1215 when the first draft of the US Constiturion called the Magna Carta was signed in England.
@SustenanceNCovering So the World as we know it ended in 1215. I wasn't aware that anyone alive today was alive in 1215. Most wars throughout all ages are Wars of conquest and not defense. I thought you might be an NWO loon, so why are you excepting a SSI check from the government that you feel has already caved to the beast. One thing about you fundies that never ceases to amaze me is your hypocrisy.
@jrwilson98 If we want to breathe air and drink water and sleep on the planet that the Elite claim to own we have to give them money. It is a really stupid arangement but if that is the way that they want to play I'll take their money and then turn around and give it back to them. It certainly doesn't make sense, but creating earthquakes by pumping all of the Earths lubricant out and cutting all of the planets insulating trees down doesn't make much sense either. Idiots. GottaLuvEm
@jrwilson98 If you would like to know when the New World Order is going to start. I can give you a pretty good idea. The Bible says that the New World Order officialy begins when all of the Kings of the earth give their crowns to the One world Government (Image of the Beast). The best that I can figure is that North Korea, and Iran are the only governments left that have not done this. When they do finally surrender or get defeated, what the Bible calls the Great Tribulation starts
@BallerSkier There are only 7 kings that make up the beast, but the Bible does say that when the Anglo-American Kingdom passes from the scene that all of the kings of the Earth will hand over their crowns to an image of the beast that will act as an 8th king.
@MickScarborough Thank You so much for enlightening me. Now that I know that the Empire isn't in any danger I can take up golf and give up all this foolish self sufficiency. You should follow my example. Everything is going to be perfectly fine. I'm sure that America will bounce back better than ever. Enjoy your free block. It's on the house.
If i were a bad guy and youre neighbor with the power boat and things popped off, id steal chickens, and whatever else i could from you, have somebody with covering fire if a confrontation were to happen, maybe since its open info that you were in the service and knowing youve most certainly got big steel id try an all out assault try and catch you when ur sleeping thats another plausible and highly probable scenerio but im not a bad guy and Jesus is the only certainty there is period.
@botiroti1 If they want to steal my chickens I'm OK with that. I don't need chickens to survive. All of my neighbors have dogs, and I have a bunch of traps. Plus my neighbors will be sleeping inside of their houses where I can easily find them. I don't even sleep inside my house now.
@botiroti1 I am not a member of any of the religeons allowed by the state. My Faith is based on my own personal observations of creation and the BIble. However if I should die prior to the resurection, I am assured by the scriptures that I will experience coming back to life on the Earth once the resurection begins.
@TheJSWAG28 I wish that I could sleep at night. The chickens get silent till about 4am, and then they don't really make that much noise, but due to health problems I really don't know when I'm going to fall asleep. Durring the day I get woke up about every 15 minutes. The worse part is that I sleep outdoors and sometime the chickens will come around to where I am sleeping and crow right in my ear. That is what you call a rude awakening.
@TheJSWAG28 i am gonna field that one. it is kind of like working and the train always comes by. YES you can hear the sound but the sounds are associated with alarm or comfort. i have slept in the primary containment of a nuclear plant waiting for my health physics escort to come monitor our radiation levels. it was about 120db but heck if you tired and comfortable, you can sleep right through it. hope this helped.
awesome video. Good luck to you. And you are totally right...owning a power boat is overrated. It would be smarter for somebody to just rent a boat whenever they are going somewhere with a lake or ocean. :-) Silly to have something expensive that you only use twice a year at most...just for fun. I can understand if it plowed snow or hauled stuff...but dang a boat is useless unless you use it everyday for fishing ;-)
@GlockNinja I've always thought that it might be a really good prepper thing to have a submarine. Not one like they have in the Navy, but one like Captain Nemo had. Huge library, really kickin keyboard, and rooms for all my friends. That would be really cool, but a powerboat? Nah! Not really interested.
@303uf I just watched some fella shoot his thumb off on the national geograph show where they try to convince everybody that all is well and preppers are just paranoid psychos.
You just made my day and put a big smile on my face!
I have had 40 dollars waiting to by some preppin' groceries, I like to plot out and plan where to go and the best prices for certain items. Any suggestions? :)
@Gevedon You might be able to get a 50lb bag of rice a 20 lb bag of beans and maybe 20lbs of flour at sam's club. Or 2 cases of toilet paper at the same place. Or my all time favorite 3-1.5liter bottles of cheap vodka anywhere.
That is a fine home. I'm gathering stuff to build my chicken house now. I'll be using old pallets and scrap lumber. Found some old tin in the woods that's still in decent shape for the roof. Expecting to have all of $50.00 in vested in it. Good job and God Bless.
@jerryt602 God Bless anyone who is willing and able to do what you are doing. I feel like I'm the last man on the earth who is actively trying to provide for myself while doing as litttle damage to the environment as possible. Consumerism is about to reverse itself and consume the consumers. I'll be so glad when they are all dead and gone so that the earth can begin to heal.
@jerryt602 if you have the energy to follow this guy (the publisher), you will find out that fowl aint too picky. they need food (or a way to get to it) and water and a HOME. just like us they need a place to sleep and be protected. if we do our job they will provide eggs (protein) and more. follow his advice but let me tell you; he built a PALACE for his chickens but probably because he is a perfectionist. follow directions and use the cheapest materials. thanks
damn dude i guess it must be nice to get an ssi from those neighbors that have the speedboats.. wow i guess they deserve a toy after supporting you on ssi. it looks like you are capable of working apparently. .amazing.. nothing like american entitlements.
@tonytonytee It actually would have been nicer to have gotten on it at 18. That way I wouldn't have had to spend 30 years working 60 hours a week for sub poverty wages so that worthless worshipers of "The Republic" would get to live the American Dream. God has a clock that is ticking and it ain't no debt clock. And when the ticking stops the Empire will be gone forever, along with all who support it. It sounds like you have already chosen sides in the war between Jesus and America.
@tonytonytee please take Joe South's advice (he was a hard working man and very talented). he said "walk a mile in my shoes". people do not like to lay out every detail of their lives to seem credible. enjoy the videos. take away what you can. use what you can. (if you live in a city, forget the chickens; ordinances disallow all but puppy farms). i like the videos. might not help me but could inspire someone else who CAN get better food by spending a little time. thanks.
Remember.....when the end times come......your neighbors may be the first to raid your food stores and chicken coop and etc. Desperate times breeds desperate people! They will come in droves........Be prepared ! ! !
@MaximusStimulus I'm not sure that my neighbors are aware of the nature of food. The America pretty much has them convinced that chicken nuggets come straight to walmart from God. They probabl think that my chickens are just some new kind of dog or cat.
@CR67 nobody can keep even a few layers in most "small" towns. my neighbor has on hand 200 small dogs "a puppy farm" and it smells just like dog shit. if you will keep a place where your hens can feel and BE safe at night you do not even have to feed them but they will return the favor by laying rich eggs in THEIR house. just be sure to lock them up and turn them out every day. thanks.
i watched a few more of your "stupid" videos today. GREAT job. good camera control and better yet; control of your comments. you will have to educate people about squirrel and old hens. what an ignorant population WE have become. i still eat shad, old roosters, but give me a break on the varmints. i like possum but damn if coon dont taste like a dog smells. YES i have a very sensitive olofactory nerve. that comes from a "micro gene" and it is only 1/8 cherokee but "genetic anomaly". GOOD.
@thenworhemity1 Dog tastes like dog smells as well. A chineese lady told me to put orange peels on dogs and coyotes to draw out that scent / taste. Maybe it would work on possum as well.
@SustenanceNCovering O possum is actually ok. gar fish is bony as hell (like some sort of puzzle of bones and hard to get to) but it tsstes like fish. i agree that it is all in the cook. my mama couod cook almost anything tender. she used high tech stuff like boiling it a long time before making dumplins etc. i think it was the cook who screwed up. he should have let his wife cook the coon. love your videos; informative and interesting.
@thenworhemity1 I fnind that anytime someone ask how some kind of animal taste they always say that it taste like chicken. To me every animal that I ever ate just tasted like meat.
@SustenanceNCovering good videos; good comments. i hope the younger generation will use your examples (without worrying about getting it right the first time) and you can NOT explain what smother fried squirrel tastes like to someone who has never had chicken except at KFC. i have one whole HAM in the freezer now (not a deer shoulder) all it needs is the end of a coke bottle and some flour and a little grease to become smother fried cubed deer steak. thanks.
@SustenanceNCovering me and my neighbor will try to do final inspection tomorrow and he said if i got money he can have ready in 3 months.go to youtube; ledaril; cabin. i got a couple of progress videos beside "cabin". i dont know where you live? thanks for asking and thanks for the ideas. cant have chickens even with 6 ft fence but my neigbors around the river give me all i want (roosters too). a grizzly would never get in their chicken pen cause it 5/32 steel mesh. thx
@thenworhemity1 When I asked about when it was getting done, and where do you live I was actually interested in that ham that you were cooking, but the cabin vid was good too.
Like you I live on 7k a year SSI & EBT , I,m stuck in a 2f city apartment , I dhow pay the bills on't drive my car much but every month I somehow pay the bills :) QC
3000$ for a small greenhouse and chicken home? Crazy wouldn't describe it truly. I'd make a much bigger greenhouse for... dunno... like 100$ ( a hundred) TOPS... that means, most probably even less than that.
@tekknorat Latvia money must be different than amerika money. Just as an example concrete is $250 a yard over here, and these two projects took 2 yards. That comes out to $500 just for the concrete. And pressure treated 4x4 post are $6. I must have had to buy 40 of those. The steel on the roof of the henhouse was about $25 a sheet and I think that there was about 20 sheets. Most of my materials were used, but if I had to buy new, I would have had to spend about $10,000.
@SustenanceNCovering well the exchange rate is about 2:1 (2$=1Lat) Well, ok, if You had to buy everything than it comes out expensive, no doubt. If You lay out all the expenses.... hmm, yeah not cheap at all. Some things over there in US is cheaper then here, but some are way too expensive, unfortunately. I mean no offence, it is what it is, just saying that it's a crazy ammount for a greenhouse and chicken house :\
@tekknorat The US economy use to be based on our gross national product. (value of goods produced). There are virtually no goods produced in this country any more as most of what we have is taken by military force from countries with less weapons than we have. In effect everyone in the US who has a job is employed in some aspect of this evil process. It takes huge amounts of money to exist in a theft and fraud based economy. Especially if you are not a thief or defrauder.
Great video that explains the simple things. I do have a question though. You mentioned buying chains. I would like for you to further explain why you buy alot of chains. Is it for bartering?
@TheHbarski Chains are good to have around just for constrution projects. A single person with enough chains and chain based hoists and pullies can move trees that weigh tons. I don't have anything for barter. Barter is a fiction that the public school system uses to explain the origins of money. There is no historic bases for barter. If anybody needs something from me I just let them have it. If..... they are the kind of person that is freely giving themselves.
@SustenanceNCovering You are right, a man can't have too many chains, I pulled a fellar out of the red clay mud one time, he slid off the road trying to run over some crawfish, in a gully washer, got stuck deeper then an Alabama tick buried up on a coon dogs neck! I had to hook 3 of my shorter chains together just to reach him. (I always save my long one for emergency) Good thing I had my muddin' tires on my '69 Chevy 4 wheel drive or I might have been in there with him till morning!!
@TheHbarski I try to pick them up at auctions,if their cheap, but i've never thought about just buying them. I like the assortment of useful things that you acquire. Very practical. I like the green house. Is it a kit? If not a video on it would be great. Thanks for replying.
@TheHbarski Harbor Freight is great for chains. I have never found lthem any cheeper anywhere. I imagine that the quality is not as good as the chains that cost twice as much, but I probably will never run into a situation that will put that to the test. So far no problem.
My only issue was near the end when u said " the 24 country that you were force to go into", you had to know what was expected of you when you were in the service.
And speaking of force, were you drafted?
But nice place you got there, too bad your neighbors are close by.
@oakland002 A person can be forced by deception, fraud, coersion, enticement, threat, or the barrel of a gun. When an 18 year old is fooled into believing that the world is populated by terrorist just waiting to kill his family, that meets the criteria of all those things. I was more than forced.
@SustenanceNCovering Its time you accept personal responsibility for being gullible. When i was 18, i understand whole heartedly the military was a scam for suckers, and the enlistment "officers" were just hustle bunnies that would say ANYTHING to get there numbers up. Its not THEIR FAULT YOU'RE A SUCKER!
@Duckyistrippin Fortunately my god is more forgiving than both you and me. You just can't seem to help reminding me of a 35 year indiscretion, and I just can't keep from pressing the block button whenever arogant AK47 worshippers make rude comments on my channel.... Perhaps we can both work thru our personal shortcomings. Just not together. Love Ya.
Enjoyed your video. Trying to prepare myself for the end as well but not moving forward as well as u are. I really don't have the knowledge. Thank you once again for the video and the education. Robin : )
@robindidnot I no longer have a job, so I have plenty of time. It can be very frustrating to come home from work so tired that you can no longer stand up and know that tomorrow it is going to be the same way. I look at my little fruit trees and wonder what it would be like if I had been able to plant them 20 years ago. I'ld be living in a year round food forest right now. My health is very limiting, but no where near as limiting as slavery.
$1009/month is the most you have ever earned??? That's only $12,108 per year... or $6/hour 40hr/week... which is $1.25 less then min wage. That is just disturbing. But man do you make it go a long way... good for you.
@Loathomar What is distrubing is that even though I spent my whole working life working for less than minimum wage people can't figure how my concience allows me to quit working and go on dissability. I don't understand how those who are lucky enough to land some kind of job that pays a living wage expect that worthless folks like myself should be content with my lot in life and just continue serving them.
@SustenanceNCovering I hope you did not infer that I thought you worthless from my comment, as I did not mean to imply it. I see no reason that you should not use a system that does not give you a fair chance for a reasonable life, in every way you can. And it looks to me, you are going a good job serving your self, so why serve those who thing you below them any more then you must. I liked you video and wish you the best.
@Loathomar It sounded good coming out of my head, but in writing I guess you could think that I was implying that . I should have just said Thank You For Your Support, but I use that one quite a bit, and felt that your kind comment deserved better than that. I was mostly just venting. Quite a few folks do consider me to be worthless,(example comment from redpaintmakesitgofast above) and my value to America comes out quite a bit in my viewers comments. Just can't figure some folks out.
@SustenanceNCovering Haters gotta hate.. I wasn't sure if you where venting or you felt i was judging you poorly, so I thought to make my thoughts clear. Glad we where on the same page. Too few people understand the failure of the American system on the working poor and them blame people like you, when they should be blaming the system. People aren't generally too hard to figure out, they are generally ignorant, stupid or both. Best of luck to you.
@Phantasmos The administrative cost of Social Security is nearly 25% of what is taken in. Don't look for those figures to be posted though. Most of it is hidden by taking it directly out of the recipients bank account. Subcontracted Doctors, Lawyers, and Judges get as much for a 15 minute hearing as most Social Security recipeints get in an entire year. .
@Kicker001911 Man oh Man. If this is as good as it looks I may very well delete my youtube channel and just start over on zippcast. As soon as I get my own computer again I'm going to sign up for an account.
Your the man I wish I had your land. My township here in MI says I cant have chicken in my back yard... I hope i can find some privacy fence so they can keep their nose on their side of it.
so...wait...you live off of SSI,yet you claim your able to survive completely on your own resources and ablilites...correct me if im wrong, but isnt it me,the american taxpayer, who is keeping you alive? and by the way, thank you for serving in the U.S. armed forces.
@REDpaintMAKESitFAST I might survive what is coming. But it is almost a certainty that patriotic indoctrinated servants of the empire will not survive. If what is done with the artificial money of the empire truly concerns you, than you are without hope. If you believe in taxes and fiat money, you probably believe in elections, Muslim terrorist, and The US Constitution as well. Why do you look at videos about survival. Just trust your government.
@yourgirlbites My backup plans have backup plans. I'm not just blowin' smoke when I say this, but.... Everyone of my videos is only about a third of what is going on here. Because if I was to show everything that I am doing there wouldn't be any reason to do it.
Excellent video. I am sure happy I found your channel my friend. Have the same greenhouse, or did, Just lost mine in a storm, oh well. LOL Still have enjoyed it more than a power boat. I just wanted to tell you I enjoyed this video. Well done and thank you. - Brett
@craig79792000 If you don't want to survive, I completely understand. In fact the more I think about it the more I don't want you to survive either. Keep in touch. Love Ya.
You my friend have wisdom. The power boats, big trips and designer clothes, and fancy cars are stress. I prefer to keep my life simple. I am going to live longer hopefully.
You hardcore preppers will probley just make fun of me but i've got not intention of growing/rasing my food. I'll stock up on MREs and dried food.
FixWithFirepower 3 hours ago
@FixWithFirepower Probably if you have enough money and enough space to store it MRE's and dried food can be a perfect solution. The average life expectancy in the US is 76 years. I had jicama? last friday. We fried it because we didn't know what else to do with it. The guy that sold it to me called it "hi ca ma" . It was the first time that I ever ate it. Funny that the same strange thing would come up twice in 50 years and both times within a week.

try this: steam spinach with a sprinkle of salt while you brown flour(salt/pepper) in grease or butter. add water to make a thin light color gravy and stir sliced boiled eggs in it and pour it over toast or cornbread. spoon the wilted spinach on TOP of it so the extra water runs under the bread. sort of like florentine but much easier and even better.

How much gasoline do you store and how do store gasoline and keep it fresh ...can you keep it indefinatly? If I were to do what you're doing I would rather get rid of gasoline engines and convert everything to propane or nat gas. So you SSI check is a result of you military job?
slwslw09 1 day ago
@slwslw09 I keep my car full, which is about 10 gallons more or less, then I have about 16 5 gallon gas cans that I keep full. All total that is about a hundred gallons or with my car about 3200 miles. I put Sta-Bil in each can to extend it's life out beyond a year. Every year around January the first I stop filling my car at the gas station and fill from my cans. As the cans get emptied I refill and add Sta-Bil again.
SustenanceNCovering 1 day ago
@slwslw09 The infrastructure of civilization hasn't got much time left, so instead of worrying about what is the best fuel for a vehical I concentrate on living without a vehical altogether. That will be the best solution of all. After the collapse I don't see myself having any need to go anywhere. No thing that I normally travel to will still be functioning. (walmart, doctor, etc etc).
SustenanceNCovering 1 day ago
@slwslw09 I was in the military for 6 years and 2 so called "wars". When I left I had 3 ruptured disks and diabetes. I was 24 years old and was told when I left my last ship to report to the VA as soon as possible, where they would take care of me. When I got to the VA I was denied admission. I guess that is just one of their regular scams. I always say that I am on SSI, when it is actually called SSD. (Social Security Dissability) I'm not complaining. Most Veterans end up homeless.

i like almost all veggies and meats. with a pellet gun and a led light you can get frog legs and backs and eat like a king. dont even need grease. they good just warmed over some coals. gar is ok but it is dry and you might break a tooth. they got at least 3000 bones and each one has 5 sides to it. not bad tho. i would rather have a red horse sucker. i had never eaten spinach till i went to fort polk in 69. they chopped up boiled eggs in it. DAMN. you talk about good. some are even better. thx
adamfurstman 1 day ago
@adamfurstman You got me thinking about another one of my mama's recipies now. She use to make spinach in a white sauce with boiled eggs sliced up on to and baked. I have malibar spinach growing here as well as a henhouse full of chickens laying eggs out there. And I know that I have at least a hundred lbs of wheat that I could grind up right now to make the white sauce.

Animals eat your vegetables and fruit, so if you want to eat vegetables and fruits, you have to eat or at least kill animals.

we poor "trash" who are fortunate enough to live in the fairly isolated southern states and mexico could adapt and prepare (with a lot of work). flooding is a real downside but nothing like the affluent living in colder areas especially those who live in rat nests like NYC apts. what is your idea about loss of police state in "cities"? is there any hope for them? i read in the KJV one time, to paraphrase "those that bulild house upon house, until there is no place left to be alone are SOL".
adamfurstman 2 days ago
@adamfurstman I think that everybody on the planet wants to live on a big piece of property out in the forest. For me it just seems like that would be instinctive. I can't imagine wanting to live in an apartment where you are totally dependent on outside sources for all of your needs.(energy, water, food) In the Bible every time God decides to destroy a civilization he first orders his people to flee from population centers. I just think that it is a pretty good idea to never even visit a city.

When exactly is the World going to end as we know it?
jrwilson98 1 week ago
@jrwilson98 The world as most know is one where prices and availability are determined by a free market. It is a world where all men are created equal. Where everyone has certain inalianable rights. In the world as we know it anyone can become president. And wars of conquest are never fought but only wars of defense. As near as I can figure that world ended in 1215 when the first draft of the US Constiturion called the Magna Carta was signed in England.
SustenanceNCovering 1 week ago
@SustenanceNCovering So the World as we know it ended in 1215. I wasn't aware that anyone alive today was alive in 1215. Most wars throughout all ages are Wars of conquest and not defense. I thought you might be an NWO loon, so why are you excepting a SSI check from the government that you feel has already caved to the beast. One thing about you fundies that never ceases to amaze me is your hypocrisy.
jrwilson98 1 week ago
@jrwilson98 If we want to breathe air and drink water and sleep on the planet that the Elite claim to own we have to give them money. It is a really stupid arangement but if that is the way that they want to play I'll take their money and then turn around and give it back to them. It certainly doesn't make sense, but creating earthquakes by pumping all of the Earths lubricant out and cutting all of the planets insulating trees down doesn't make much sense either. Idiots. GottaLuvEm
SustenanceNCovering 1 week ago
@jrwilson98 If you would like to know when the New World Order is going to start. I can give you a pretty good idea. The Bible says that the New World Order officialy begins when all of the Kings of the earth give their crowns to the One world Government (Image of the Beast). The best that I can figure is that North Korea, and Iran are the only governments left that have not done this. When they do finally surrender or get defeated, what the Bible calls the Great Tribulation starts
SustenanceNCovering 1 week ago
@SustenanceNCovering no the last king is the final anglo-american union
BallerSkier 1 week ago
@BallerSkier There are only 7 kings that make up the beast, but the Bible does say that when the Anglo-American Kingdom passes from the scene that all of the kings of the Earth will hand over their crowns to an image of the beast that will act as an 8th king.

This is not a hate comment but what do you do at night when you try to go to sleep wi all those chickens
TheJSWAG28 1 week ago
@TheJSWAG28 I wish that I could sleep at night. The chickens get silent till about 4am, and then they don't really make that much noise, but due to health problems I really don't know when I'm going to fall asleep. Durring the day I get woke up about every 15 minutes. The worse part is that I sleep outdoors and sometime the chickens will come around to where I am sleeping and crow right in my ear. That is what you call a rude awakening.
SustenanceNCovering 1 week ago
@TheJSWAG28 i am gonna field that one. it is kind of like working and the train always comes by. I can understand if it plowed snow or hauled stuff...but dang a boat is useless unless you use it everyday for fishing ;-)

And pressure treated 4x4 post are $6. I must have had to buy 40 of those. The steel on the roof of the henhouse was about $25 a sheet and I think that there was about 20 sheets. Most of my materials were used, but if I had to buy new, I would have had to spend about $10,000.
SustenanceNCovering 2 weeks ago
@SustenanceNCovering well the exchange rate is about 2:1 (2$=1Lat) Well, ok, if You had to buy everything than it comes out expensive, no doubt. If You lay out all the expenses.... hmm, yeah not cheap at all. Some things over there in US is cheaper then here, but some are way too expensive, unfortunately. I mean no offence, it is what it is, just saying that it's a crazy ammount for a greenhouse and chicken house :\
tekknorat 2 weeks ago
@tekknorat The US economy use to be based on our gross national product. (value of goods produced). There are virtually no goods produced in this country any more as most of what we have is taken by military force from countries with less weapons than we have. In effect everyone in the US who has a job is employed in some aspect of this evil process. It takes huge amounts of money to exist in a theft and fraud based economy. Especially if you are not a thief or defrauder.

Great video that explains the simple things. I do have a question though. You mentioned buying chains. I would like for you to further explain why you buy alot of chains. Is it for bartering?
TheHbarski 2 weeks ago
@TheHbarski Chains are good to have around just for constrution projects. A single person with enough chains and chain based hoists and pullies can move trees that weigh tons. I don't have anything for barter. Barter is a fiction that the public school system uses to explain the origins of money. There is no historic bases for barter. If anybody needs something from me I just let them have it. If..... they are the kind of person that is freely giving themselves.
SustenanceNCovering 2 weeks ago

TheHbarski 2 weeks ago
@TheHbarski Harbor Freight is great for chains. I have never found lthem any cheeper anywhere. I imagine that the quality is not as good as the chains that cost twice as much, but I probably will never run into a situation that will put that to the test. So far no problem.

My only issue was near the end when u said " the 24 country that you were force to go into", you had to know what was expected of you when you were in the service.
And speaking of force, were you drafted?
But nice place you got there, too bad your neighbors are close by.
oakland002 2 weeks ago
@oakland002 A person can be forced by deception, fraud, coersion, enticement, threat, or the barrel of a gun. When an 18 year old is fooled into believing that the world is populated by terrorist just waiting to kill his family, that meets the criteria of all those things. I was more than forced.
SustenanceNCovering 2 weeks ago

Love Ya.

Loathomar 2 weeks ago
@Loathomar What is distrubing is that even though I spent my whole working life working for less than minimum wage people can't figure how my concience allows me to quit working and go on dissability. I don't understand how those who are lucky enough to land some kind of job that pays a living wage expect that worthless folks like myself should be content with my lot in life and just continue serving them.
SustenanceNCovering 2 weeks ago
@SustenanceNCovering I hope you did not infer that I thought you worthless from my comment, as I did not mean to imply it. I see no reason that you should not use a system that does not give you a fair chance for a reasonable life, in every way you can. And it looks to me, you are going a good job serving your self, so why serve those who thing you below them any more then you must. I liked you video and wish you the best.
Loathomar 2 weeks ago
@Loathomar It sounded good coming out of my head, but in writing I guess you could think that I was implying that . I should have just said Thank You For Your Support, but I use that one quite a bit, and felt that your kind comment deserved better than that. I was mostly just venting. Quite a few folks do consider me to be worthless,(example comment from redpaintmakesitgofast above) and my value to America comes out quite a bit in my viewers comments. Just can't figure some folks out.
SustenanceNCovering 2 weeks ago
@SustenanceNCovering Haters gotta hate.. I wasn't sure if you where venting or you felt i was judging you poorly, so I thought to make my thoughts clear. Glad we where on the same page. Too few people understand the failure of the American system on the working poor and them blame people like you, when they should be blaming the system. People aren't generally too hard to figure out, they are generally ignorant, stupid or both. Best of luck to you.

Its amazing how people who think that just cause they pay taxes, they support everyone on SS and or SSI...
Keep in mind folks, what you put in is what you get out. As for SS running dry - do your math...
Phantasmos 2 weeks ago
@Phantasmos The administrative cost of Social Security is nearly 25% of what is taken in. Don't look for those figures to be posted though. Most of it is hidden by taking it directly out of the recipients bank account. Subcontracted Doctors, Lawyers, and Judges get as much for a 15 minute hearing as most Social Security recipeints get in an entire year. .

REDpaintMAKESitFAST 3 weeks ago
@REDpaintMAKESitFAST I might survive what is coming. But it is almost a certainty that patriotic indoctrinated servants of the empire will not survive. If what is done with the artificial money of the empire truly concerns you, than you are without hope. If you believe in taxes and fiat money, you probably believe in elections, Muslim terrorist, and The US Constitution as well. Why do you look at videos about survival. Just trust your government.
