Great sound man. Very close to the beatles' sound, almost sounds like you should be at the cavern lol. I must say tho that I think "it won't be long" is not underrated. Far from it, it's one of their most popular songs & the structure of it is undeniably genius like, even now.
This is the most accurate cover of this song in every way. You have really developed a natural way of strumming like john did! Strumming over the middle pickup, as well as having the closest modern guitar/amp to the one John used. Thanks for taking to the 1960's yet again :)
Beautiful guitar and a great, deep-cut song. I've got the c58 in Alderglo and fitted it with a Bigsby. I love the oven knobs too, so I kept 'em on. I also kept the Ric stock bridge. It's one of my favorite guitars, next to my 325c64. Great playing and tone, by the way!
What amp settings do you use for that tone. I have a ric 325c58, and I have ordered an ac30 (delivery tomorrow). Would love to know what your settings are so I can get that great sound.
you have a great channel man. i'm into metal but i absolutely love that ricky jangle you have there. wonderful stuff. what camera are you using to record these? it has incredibly good audio.
Awesome. Have you had any problems with your new AC1?. I had two malfunctioning right out of the box. I am about to buy a third, because I can't get that sound out of my head.
@thenormish heh heh ... well, the power light was screwy from the start, but since I didn't feel like parting with the amp I waited 2 months for, I haven't sent it back in yet. Otherwise still working ok. What problems did you have with yours?
@James133335 The first one, the normal was not working right. The second amp was very noisy and the top boost channel would cut out and lose all volume while jamming. Hopefully the third is AOK.
@engineer909 yyeeaa...I keep asking myself that. yes, i will eventually put on the bigsby and the burns knobs. combination of laziness and just liking the stock set up has stopped me doing it so far...
@James133335 James, I think I would keep it stock. It looks great the way it is, and how often would you really use the Bigsby? I even think the oven knobs look fine. Either way .. a beautiful guitar!
love it cool man

Don't really need to know what settings you use. It sounded fantastic straight out of the box. Wow!

Could you tell me what the chords are for the first 2 lines...Since you left me I'm so alone, Now you're coming, you're coming home.
I've been looking everywhere and the chords are wrong, but yours sound right.

@csnymoodiesfan E, G Augmented. Easier just to look at where the fingers go, really.

Nah, leave the oven knobs on! They look better. I just put a couple on my Brian May guitar actually, I think they look badass.

Great job! I love the Ric, also. Are you gonna keep it stock, or put the bigsby on it? Nice ending chord!
