Mr. Karate is auctually Takuma Sakazaki wearing a mask. Takuma is from Art of Fighting from SNK. Dan's father is called Go Hibiki. His face resembles Mr. Karate's mask.

Yep. Go Hibiki's appearance parodies Mr. Karate just as Dan Hibiki's appearance parodies Ryo Sakazaki (and Robert Garcia).

Go's face varies from wearing a tengu mask and having a face like one though.

Yes. I can't remember which (maybe SNK), but their is a girl named simply "Hibiki". She's not related to Dan in anyway (not even a joke character IIRC). In Rival Schools, their is a girl named Ran Hibiki also (has some of Dan's mannerisms).

She's a character from Rival Schools. She's (IIRC) a high school newspaper reporter and kinda energetic when it comes to finding a scoop. Her mannerisms and last name lead many to believe she's related to Dan. How is unknown...

Also the class rep (a friend of hers) once took a Saikyo-ryu correspondence course.

hibiki is from street fighter 3. she is a ninja like character that is very agile and stuff. but she is pretty good if you want a high combo like character. hard to handle though.

The character Hibiki is a sword wielding girl from SNK (possibly out of Samura Showdown).

Hibiki is a character out of The Last Blade (2), which is also made by SNK.

I recommend that game to any fighting game lovers. I liked it more than Samurai Shodown, but in different ways.
