@84W201 you obviously dont know how nascar works look up videos of nascar racing and you see they race around tracks just like this the only difference is that nascar requires more skill
well its had a long career.. other manufactures probably can not keep up on the overly strict engineering rules.. makes like OPEL, BMW, VW-Audi.. same thing.. almost, Audi looks better.
you are right though.. DTM is getting rather broing with only 2 makes.. it was like watching the GT1 class with only Corvette and Aston Martin, it all comes down to Costs... if it costs too much.. no one will enter a team, so blame that on the sport... not the manufactures. Opel and Alpha did race for awhile in DTM.. but they are gone.. and now only powerhouse budgets like Merceds and Audi-VW can run in DTM

@84W201 Yer dtm is as bad as wtcc these days, it's a good thing that bmw are coming back in 2012. Hopefully Opel rejoin with the insignia too.
