The idea of brock even surviving half a round of standup against Fedor is ridiculous. Fedor's Standup is Shane Carwin btu faster and more aggressive. he would own Brock like Shane couldn't. That said - Once they clinch it would be a more even match - with overall odds going to Brock. Fanboys aside it's hard to say either would completely dominate, but Fedor has to have the odds.

Bob Sapp was bigger and stronger than Brock, and that Polish guy Pudzian is far stronger still. Neither of them have exactly rocked the MMA world. Brocks strength is only relevant because he is a good wrestler. This gives him one good angle - a powerful effective wrestler. Unfortunately that's the only angle he has. His striking is second rate, and that's being generous, and his submissions are so far non-existent. Like every other one dimensional fighter he can beat some but will fall...

I'm sorry but who has Fedor really fought? He's maybe fought 2-3 LEGIT fighters that could actually win against people in the UFC. Also to the guy saying he has fought stronger guys and listed them have to be joking. Look at those names, you listed height/weight. How does that measure strength? You do know Lesnar benches 600lbs, and easily reps around 400. I think Fedor would die if he tried to bench 600. Bench Press doesn't measure all of strength but it's better than height/weight for sure.

The 5 biggest guys Fedor has fought are: Zuluzinho (6'7, 177kg), Hong Man (7'2, 145kg), Semmy Schilt (6'11, 130kg), Tim Sylvia (6'8, 130kg) and Mark Hunt (5'10, 129kg). Lesnar is 6'3, 120kg, he's powerful but isn't nearly the strongest guy fedor has faced and has nothing that Fedor hasn't seen before. Don't get me wrong, Lesnar is ok, he is a powerful guy and has a tough, aggressive mindset and some genuine wrestling skills. He's a good fighter, but he isn't on Fedor's level.

He just fought AA and Sylvia, both ranked #2 and #5 respectively when the fight happened.
Don't get brainwashed by Dana into thinking about Cain and Shane are the best fighters asides from Lesnar. None of these guys have enough fights for me to even talk about their strengths/weaknesses.
You bet against Fedor on both AA and Sylvia fights right? Of course after the fight people think Sylvia and AA sucks. But at the time of the fight, they were big threats to Fedor.

I think its ridiculous that people put Brock Lesnar on the same level as Fedor. People say Fedor has only beaten "over the hill" fighters. Nogueira, Cro Cop, and Heath Herring were over the hill when Fedor beat them? Oh wait, Herring was over the hill when Brock beat him, thats right. MMA fanboys think that just because Brock beat 3 big names (1 of which he had already lost to) he is some sort of god. FEDOR IS 30-0-1!!! You think Fedor needs to be tested? Brock is the one who needs to be tested.

fedor is very impressive however brocks size is a huge cause of concern if lesnar were to display what he did to mir in his last fight keep a tight gaurd and
pound there isnt really all that much fedor can do brock isnt in my list of best p4p fighter but he could very well be in a couple years if fedor loses one match at any given time then brock will take his place as the best heavyweight in the world

you can't submit someone that is flat chest to chest with you mir is better at subbmissions than fedor just lacks his punch power.. thats why lesnar stayed chest to chest.. no one else will do that bc they cant end a fight like that but lesnar has the power to hurt you from short punches.. or any punches for that matter..

Its arguable who is better at submissions, Mir is a BJJ black belt, and Fedor is a multiple time Sambo and Judo champ. So its hard to say whos is better at submissions. I personally think Fedor is better seeing as how Mir lost a BJJ match to Roy Nelson.

When Brock fights the same caliber of fighters in their prime that Fedor has, then I will consider him one of the best. And there is plenty Fedor can do if he ends up on the ground with Brock. Its gonna be Brock who wont have anything to do if Fedor ends up on top of Brock. He'll be stuck and then tapped out. Just like everyone else who go's to the ground with him.

yeah but fedor's 2nd fight wasn't against one of the top 5 hwts in the world.. plus his 4th fight with couture! and avenged his first loss in a very convincing fashion as a 5th fight.. just bc brock got thrown in with the whos who best fights and fedor did not.. so obviously his starting record is pretty but fedor is 30-1-1. you can ignore his first loss but it all boils down to the fact that fedor did lose maybe he should have protected his face more and kept his hands up and he would have a W

Heath Herring wasnt top 5 when he fought Lesnar, as far as I know anyway. The only top 5's he has fought are Mir an Couture, and (hate to say it) Couture was past his prime. And in my opinion, the only thing that won him the Couture match was his reach. Even Couture said he didnt train for Lesnars reach advantage.

go check out the fighters records on wikipedia.
ufc hw's all have their record padded and really none of them have fought any competition besides each other. brock leasnar was coming off a loss when he got a title shot!!! where on earth do ppl get title shots for losing... ill tell u where,,,, UFC.

K u are talking about a guy who got a title shot after 3 mma fights compared to a guy that has been champion in every organization hes entered, has a record of 30-1, walked through the toughest hw division in the history of mma(pride), and is basically undefeated. well maybe if fedor went to the ufc he should have a few warm up fights for the simple reason that u dont want someone to walk into your organization and mop the floor with ur best hw.
