There is a knack to putting on a helmet cam. Most of those who put them on, put them on and have the camera follow the eye line. So that when you standing looking straight ahead you get a good camera view.
People seem to forget that on a sports bike you have your head down and your eyes are rolled up into the top of your head just so you can see forward. The camera shouldn't follow the eye line of the rider it should point up so when your head is down its pointed forward.
Took me about 4 attempts each time inching it up thinking....but all I will get is sky if i point it any higher!!
Now its set lovely and I get some good views of the road directly ahead. Watching the video is like riding the bike....which is really what it should be.
Helmet cam needed to be set back about another inch or so. I hate when it dips down and you can't see the track ahead. It's just a terrible perspective.
