  • Rosacea is treatable. : Great video.

  • After thinking I had rosacea for many years (that's what everybody said it was so I figured it must be true....duh) I started watching your videos. When I got to this one I was almost to the point that I didn't want to leave the house. I finally made an appointment to see the dermatologist. Well it seems that my rosacea is minor but the SD is pretty nasty. I got the meds from the doc and it started clearing up immediately...after only two days. Just wanted to thank you..

    Tom

  • @tnel332 You are welcome. Glad you got it under control.

  • and if every physician I speak to tells me something different?? You have eczema...you have SD...you have rosacea...you have blah blah blah.

  • Hopefully you will find the physician that diagnoses you correctly the first time. This does indeed happen. However, you should just be aware that it is possible that your first diagnosis might be wrong.

  • I had SD and a physician misdiagnosed me and told me I had eczema, gave me steroids and it made it worse. Finally I went to another physician and he diagnosed me with SD and Rosacea and gave me metrogel, that didn't work at all for me. So I started doing my own research and I lost 60 pounds got in good shape and stopped eating certain foods and drinking anything with alcohol or caffeine in it and cut out a lot of carbs and Wham my SD is gone still have Rosacea, I'm buying your book and geting PL

  • You are on the road to controlling the rosacea beast. Glad you conquered the SD. Thanks for buying my book.

  • yes i deffinetly need to go to a dermatologist. i dont want to use the wrong treatment and mess up my skin worse. i know i have some skin condition on my cheeks though and i NEED a treatment.

  • I cannot over emphasize that a correct diagnosis from a physician is paramount to treating what skin condition/disease you may be suffering with.

  • hey. by a complete fluke i found the condition Keratosis Pilaris, and this is DEFINITELY what I have. I purchased some moisturizer for it and instantly my skin is looking better. Thanks for the help =D

  • MikeyTSH,

That is one of the featured mimics (one of four) in Chapter 2 of my book. In Appendix B, page 163, I list 54 rosacea mimics. It was good you found out you have KP and got the right treatment.
