  • LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • we all started grooving

  • Well done, sir.

I think this was the first glam rock song I ever liked as a young lad. I didn't learn of the version by The Damned until later in life.

  • Great stuff. RIP Brian and Mick..... Great rework of vid too.

  • You should redo all their videos.

  • OOOH YEEEEAH!!!!!

  • @imnotabotrlyimnot Yeah they sure did. I swear the bassist wears makup better than most women!

  • Okay they looked the equivalent of today's; metro dudes but they did know how to milk that sctick ....

  • Fantastic job, man... the song & vision really glimmers & shines as was intended by The Sweet, no doubt.

  • how did you rework the audio did you find the wav files somewhere?

  • @joshuahamker15 . I just remastered the original track. Dont have any multitracks

  • @sirPUNKsir Hats off to you sir, you did a fine job, the other versions I've found are all tinny and have no volume or bass. Thank you.

    Steve/UK

  • These guys were a class rock band. Dont be fooled with the glam rock pretty boy stuff.

  • Great work on great song!!!!

  • It wasn't just about make-up and crazy costumes. This is a classic piece of rock n roll :)

  • Nice clean up. Though this stuff will never die it's a great job pumping a little more life into it.

    thanks for sharing !

  • que gran cancion!!

  • great job!

  • And which planet do you come from?

  • I don't think so :D

  • The song is called 'Ballroom Blitz'. I know, I bought the single back in '73. And I have a 'Best Of'' compilation by The Sweet entitled 'Ballroom Hits - The Very Best Of The Sweet'. Maybe this is where you're confused.

  • @JoakimHoeg

The name of the song is definitely "The Ballroom Blitz." Get your facts straight.

  • @JoakimHoeg your so wrong

  • @JoakimHoeg somebody obviously wasn't paying attention to the song.

  • Great work, this vid is much better than the original! Tnx!

In memory of Brian and Mick: You'll always live in our hearts!

  • great work! i've been searched for a good qualitity clip of this great song!

  • magic rework of a previous terrible video!

    congrats bro!

  • I'm a disappointed owner of this sweet dvd, the audio and video are terrible. it's very noble that you are giving credit to the owner to the rights to this video, but they should be humbled that you can produce a higher quality product than they sold to the public. thanx

  • that's most kind of you Bigdoc54 . Perhaps they just didnt have the resources to get it improved in the first place. I would actually love to rework the original footage

  • Thank you! So happy to have you back!!!!

  • Great , is this Pre Rocky Horror ?

Great Color saturation , beautiful reworked .

The original owners would be proud , check out the others . Excelent re-work .

Semless maching that can't be easy.

Glad to see your back !

  • yup. it was but only just as the show opened in June 73 and the single was released in September although I'm assuming it was written before and The Sweet were already glam icons. Good to be back by the way ;)
