I think this is probably the best album I've heard this year, alongside The Roots' undun, Nicolas Jaar's Space is Only Noise... and his Darkside album, and Machinedrum's Room(s). Now if that doesn't speak for its quality right there, I don't know what to tell ya. It's one of the few soundtracks I've heard that is perfectly accessible and equally as enjoyable when its been removed from the source its associated with. Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
I was out today buying an expensive ass guitar just to try and learn this games' soundtrack, and i havent even played the game, what does that say about the soundtrack huh..
All this takes a lot of getting used to..and you do get used to it; after a while.
There's three things I'll always miss though:
1: Not having to watch my step all the time.
2: ....Well forget about two.
And 3: I'll miss the songs.
Folks from Caleondia knew how to carry a tune, Sure we've got some some songs on the old gramophone, but try imagine what they sounded like, playing to a room full of fine people. Unwinding of the soul granted after hard days of work.
I'd kill for the tabs to the intro of this song, that awesome combo of guitar hammer-ons and pull-offs is ridiculously catchy, but I'm finding it impossible to listen hard enough given its speed to come up with an idea. Anyone know what the chord is after each series of .hammer ons and pull offs is to help start off?
One of my favorite tracks in the soundtrack! Wish this had been the intro level theme, or even just the Saloon theme! It's just short enough to cover that entire section... The track /does/ play when you view the credits from the main menu in the PC version at least!
This song is so fucking good. The juxtaposition of vaguely Eastern acoustic folk with electronic blips and hip-hop beats pushes all of my musical buttons in the best way.
This song makes me picture riding through western plains on a horse for some reason xD

I foudn out this song did make it into the game. You can only hear it in Who Knows Where in The Strangers Dream at the beginning of the level.

@superwowman100 You and someone else mentioned this at some point. I will fix this!

Huh. This actually reminds me of Jethro Tull's "Mother Goose," with that same tempo for the main riff.

I find pretty sad that the soundtrack from a game is so much more original and beautiful than 90% of the songs I find on TV

@stravos11 How's that sad? Maybe games are just more exciting and fertile now :)

Love this song, love the soundtrack! And if someone doesn't, they're obviously an evil puppy eater :<
But honestly, some of the tracks on the OST are just... just... BRILLIANT! This is one of those tracks. #12 and #21 are another two I love.
