Dang, I never thought an appartment would be smaller than my room. Although it does look cozy, I'm just not too sure about the Shower thing, LOL. Oh well, I won't knock it until I try it.
We take our shoes off at the door here in Canada too lol. It just makes sense to take your shoes off to keep everything clean. I mean, what happens if you step in something a bit nasty without noticing. You'd end up dragging it all over your floor lol.

@StringsCrusader well not all Canadians do it. Trust me, I lived in Canada for 9 years. some of my canadian friends even wear their shoes on their bed

@tokee1234567 lol I don't know why you're saying that living in Canada for 9 years somehow gives you more experience in the matter than me considering I was born here and lived here all my life so far. I know what you mean though... There are a few slobby people that leave their shoes on. It's just a lack of respect/ laziness on their part.

@StringsCrusader well I didn't mean that, but through my experiences there I've seen that some families do leave their shoes on. But in Asia, it's a real mandatory thing to not wear shoes, but in western society it doesn't apply to all families, nor do they really think about it. I wouldn't call that slobby btw. I've seen this American family where they all wear shoes everywhere, but I never thought they were slobby or lazy. it's just a difference in culture

@tokee1234567 it's so dirty to leave your shoes on though... like if you walk through dog shit unknowingly, then you'd track it all through your house lol.

One thing I don't get. It's your apartment right?
So why do you take off your shoes in your own apartment if you're not Korean? Theres no one to offend in your own place so I'm not sure why you do that.
Wow that is a grea tour. I was traveling also, and now catchin up on your Korea updates! its a cute lil stay, but im sure takes some getting used to!!
I have a professor that travels to Korea to every year and really enjoys it. We also have a large Korean population at the Seminary, since Korea has the fastest growing Church. When you go to a nice restaurant, order something other than steak. It will confuse the waiter. What are you teaching?
Thoroughly enjoyable to watch. I am hoping and pulling for you. You have courage, man! Thanks for showing us a bit of your new life. Can you show us the school where you teach?
Wow. Looks like you have quite an adventure ahead of yourself. I hope you have fun! First seeing your room brought to mind what you had to say about possessions in your Life Philosophy vlog.
you know i've never really known much about korea and im going to be stopping over there next year on my way to vegas.. so thanks for showing me whats the go over there :)
At least you're not going to get tired walking around the apartment! :) (But you might want to be wary of using the toilet while doing laundry, therer seems to be some opportunity for unpleasant surprise.)
OMG Steve...that floor looks like its covered in plastic mate...why u gotta take off ya shoes....lol..nice apartment mate....this remonds me so much of Hong Kong .....
Ahhh pictures. That's always helpful. :D I'm heading to southeast asia for a few months this fall and I'm a bit nervous about the food thing! Especially because I need to make matters all complicated with the only vegetables thing. ;)
안녕 스티브 :) gosh I'm so jealous!!! my parents were in Korea a few weeks ago too :) someday I want to go back. so do you like pot bing soo? :) I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it!
WOW, they really cram a lot of stuff in a small space!! My showers in hotels in England were like that too...confused the shit out of me! I'm like "where's the shower curtain?" Love you buddy, ENJOY!!
There's probably a whole factiry of those power adapters somewhere near you. In any case it looks very cool there, you have a great adventure ahaed of you.
Wow I've really been gone for a long time. I had no idea you were going away and for what. I'll check your page to fing out why unless you'd like to tell me. Good luck. Your apartment is functional lol
