@zefert well you have to give the critics some credit. Van Helsing as a story line was pretty much a mix-up of all greater villains in mystery movies and a hero. As a concept it is pretty thin and that's the main point for criticism. Although I like the movie and it was acted well, I agree to this point of criticism. They didn't just tore it up, they criticised it and that's exactly their job.
