He reminds me of another Charles from the 17th century. Like that Charles, this Charles seeks to flirt with something whose influence is abhorrent to most normal Englishmen. Both Charles' , though, appear equally divorced from reality and the feelings of their people.

Lord knows that no Christian empires ever ran expansionist campaigns. political zealots have been using religion as an excuse to expand their power and abuse others since the being of time, if they did not have religion they would find another scapegoat to suit their needs. Yes, and we in the West need to learn that much of the anger and hatred that is directed towards us is fostered by what the Koran teaches Muslims about the nature of non-believers. I'm sure you will be shocked to learn that, as a non-believer, the Koran refers to yourself as ' filthy, decietful, dirty, the worst kind of being' etc, etc.

@jamilakrambo if I may add my own comment. Charles is only imply to have a look AGAIN at history, general history and what comes out of history past. Is there a pattern there which seems to repeat itself? WHY is there a pattern which repeat itself in history? SINCE WHEN is the pattern repeating itself? IS there a confusion in MEANINGS because people do not wish to understand or understand too late and instead accuse the innocents as scapegoats.

I find it a bit difficult to understand why Muslims are viewed as culturally isolated in this film. Why are the children singing in Arabic when we have many beautiful nasheeds in very best English ? See Yusuf Islam and others. Children love English songs and to talk in English.
