  • i am liking what I hear tone-wise. Sounds great.....however I am scared of spending $850 on a halfstack that is put out by a Behringer company. I have had bad experience with Behringer and don't trust them. Are these amps really reliable?

  • @Schpash1 A friend had a gig with his band and his 6260 head was hit by a drunk bassist and fell 6 feet from the stage platform onto the stage. It doesn't even have a scratch. It still works and has no problem what so ever. That looks like a + for the reliability.

  • And tone king keep doing what you do mang. You do some of the best gear reviews out their but you need to be more critical of flaws

  • I can't say I like this amp because I have the peavey jsx. I wish you would compare this to the jsx. From my own comparison the jsx is more articulate and is more versatile in range of tone. And the peavey is built like superman and is pretty indestructible aside from a tube replacement once every year or so. From what I have heard the 333xl is unreliable at best and dosent work new at worst. People who say that it's cheap you are plane out wrong you can get the superior peavey for 600$

  • I bought the 333xl on the 23rd of december and when i got it a week later it was DOA. Thomann sent another and that one was DOA aswell. Am waiting for my 3rd one now and if that one is DOA i will be getting a refund and never buying any bugera products again......... EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @carljohnsonwycherley damn dude that sucks the big hairy donkey doughnut... im having second thoughts about buying bugera now...let me know how its goes if you can bro

  • @jamoxesox i should receive my next one on about the 29th of feb so i'll let you know what happens mate

  • @carljohnsonwycherley cheers dude

  • @jamoxesox got my 3rd head today mate and it didn't work so am getting a refund and my advice i give to you is just beware and think twice about buying one, maybe save for a while and buy something more solid and trustworthy.

  • @carljohnsonwycherley dude sorry man that sounds like a freaking nightmare, i live in the desert so the infinium technology was the big selling point for me. i might just have to pay extra when the tubes need replaced. hmmm cheers dude

  • @jamoxesox Behringer isn't designing it, they are just funding it is wat i heard... It is completely designed by Bugera, Behringer just pays their bills lol

  • @freebird9277 thats a shame lol

  • I have the 333xl It's a peace of shit !!!!!!! Try to find them to fix it (there in the cayman islands)

I will never buy anything for bugera

  • what would you say would be better for me

i play things like children of bodom and bullet for my valentine. im stuck with the 333xl, 6260 or the 1990. what would your advice be? i also dont have anywhere to try one :/ but my mum and dad are geting me one tonight as its my birthday soon :D

  • @LewisWilliams94 I don't know if you already have the amp, but here's my 2 cents anyway.

I own a 1990 and I also played tons of times in both the 333xl and the 6260 in the studio my band used to rehearse. If you play strictly what you said then the 1990 is not really for you as it doesn't have the type of gain you need (though you can get there with my overdrive pedal).

  • @LewisWilliams94 Now tone wise the 333xl and the 6260 are very similar. The thing is, 333xl is a bit more expensive (if i'm not mistaken) cus it has 3 channels, one being clean and the other two being tow different stages of distortion. The 6260 has only two channels, both with gain knobs. The first goes from really clean to like blues distortion, and the second goes from that to really overdriven tone.

  • @andreisidro So to sum it up.

In my opinion the 333xl is the most versatile. Bugera guys call it the "Swiss army knife of Bugera amps", since it can do pretty much any kind of rock tone you would want. The 6260 is more like the modern metal amp, and the 1990 is more for blues, hardrock, punk and classic metal like Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, etc.

  • how much is this bad boy i am thinking of buying it no more amp modeling for me I need tubes wich is why i am selling the parker

  • What's the best sound? Bugera 333xl or the Bugera Trirec?

  • If you can, would you mind posting a video of some classic rock tones? Anything from Rush or Zeppelin would be great to hear. If not, can anybody tell me if this amp can get those tones?

  • @xPhablex Hey, I did an AC/DC video using the crunch channel if you wanna check it out. It is very capable of the tone you are looking for

  • @93collins Thanks for the reply. Seriously though man... You GOTTA do a Rush video hahaha I'm sold on it if it can.

  • Now after that ordeal I was afraid to trust Bugera again. Now pryer to that I giged some with a Beringer 2x12 combo 120w solid state 60w each side with built in FX effects.not one problem whats so ever! I still have the amp.I loved the sound of the 333xls I just do't think I can bring myself to give them anoughter chance! anyway I think their a great intervative Company.I hope they have leaned that better parts make better amps! and maybe some day I will find my way back. Ps.Invey all your amps!

  • Ok! here it is TK I hope the Infinium 333xl head is alot better than the first batch of The 333xls I bought this amp just a week before Christmas when The 333xl first come out because my main giging amp was in the shop.I had a NewYears gig to do! Along the third set I noticed a power surging problem, my Furnan surge protecter is on everything was fine there. This amp was runen extremely hot so I shut it down after third set.something was making the tubes over heat. I sent it back after NewYears!

  • Tone King, how do you afford all these amps? Do all these amp companies give you free stuff to review.

  • I think in the review it should mention whether the company's products are reliable and how hard it is to get them repaired. If you ask a salesman about reliability of the products they carry they should be able to tell you which amps come back to the store for repair a lot.

  • plug and play tubes.......farout

  • Bugera has been an awesome amp for me. I use a 1990 and 6262. Both have been just rippin' good amps and they take a beating. The 333XL infinium will be my next one.

  • Hi toneking ! i am wondering if the amp nobs are fine quality . cause they look too cheapy

  • @metallikosjohn they're fine metal ones. Actually everything about this amp is high quality.

  • @Viktushish thanks ! you were very helpfull

  • where do buy one

    please

  • @Tashb1616tab Thomann.de

  • @GuitarOkeBoy if you are in europe...:)

  • I would like to see some classic rock like Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc on the crunch and/or lead channel!

  • @Sloomer25 Hey, I did an AC/DC video with this amp using the crunch channel if you wanna check it out.

  • Excelent review, I love Bugera & plan on making the 333 combo my next amp. Are you sure the name of the ax you were jammin was called a DR? I really like it but cant find any info on a Gibson DR, even on Gibsons website.

  • This chanel as become my got to for new gear updates. Not only bugera as stepped up theyr A game but so have you Tone King congratulations excelent job. As for the amp im still waiting for the Trirec to come out do you think it will be worth the wait?

  • Besides the tube monitor its just like any other head, kindda expected more

  • Why does every Bugera Review from any model and from any person always have to play METAL?? Why cant they play some led zepplin or van halen? Makes me not want to buy the amp... No offense to the metal players

  • @PersianPrideTime Hey, I did an AC/DC video with this amp if you wanna check it out. I wouldnt really call that metal! :)

  • This is actually really good!

  • need a better mic to pick up those low frequencies

  • are you going to be at namm this year?

  • Good overview of the amp. I would like to see how the amp handles lower gain crunch on the crunch channel and how it cleans up using the volume control on the amp. That is a key feature for live use for me so that's what I'm interested in. It's difficult to find any examples of semi-dirty sounds with this amp, it's either pristine clean or high-gain. I'm just wondering if there are some nice bluesy crunch sounds hiding in there also?

  • another great review & demo!

    Love to have this amp,,soon!!

    TTK ROCKS!!!

  • wow, you got one! I'm still waiting on the TriRec and the Magician...

  • please do the marshall jcm 2000, also why did they quit making this KILLER amp?

  • Any Idea what these will go for street value???

  • Make a video how easy it is to change tubes with the Infinium technology.

  • I had a 333, and I liked it just fine, but... I like my Marshall TSL122 much, much better. That said... What I am more interested in is hearing about the infinium aspect of the circuit. More details, please, please, please, Please, PLease, PLEASE.

  • i was impressed untill the lead channel its kinda weak..... i would like to hear som e down tune clips on here though tk!

  • Great review..

    TVLTNT...

  • Dude, that Gibson RD guitar is super nice sounding and looking. What a cool nice Silverburst finish on that axe. Those dirty fingers pickups seem pretty nice too on that particular model.

NOS nice going on that purchase my friend :=) that ones a keeper for sure!!

I also wanted to say I dig the fact that this amp will take any of the major type of power tubes and one doesn't have to worry about any type of problems. HOW COOL IS THAT for an amp like this.

  • Bugera 6262 and/or Bugera 1960.

  • Thank you ToneKing! This is an excellent sounding amp. I don't know if you've been told, and I'm not trying to "poison the well", so to speak, but a lot of people who've purchased the Bugera 333XL (pre-infinium versions) have demo'd significant problems with these amps. Do you know about this? I love the sound of this and would happily buy one. But do you know if these more recent versions - the infinium edition - are better built and problem-free electrically? Would like to hear your thoughts..

  • Review the 6262 infinium!!!!!!! i can't choose between 333xl or 6262 infinium

  • @greendayfan19 I purchased a 6262 combo 2 years ago it was awesome for a year and a half it burned up and it can't be repaired, terrible service from Behrenger. They gave me the runaround for a couple of weeks I finally gave up. Turned it into 2 by 12 cab. Some Behrenger stuff is good. As for amps THEY CANT BE REPAIRED.

  • @greendayfan19

buy the 333xl infinium that will have all the tone you want!

  • @greendayfan19 I would say 333xl. Both are fucking heavy tho.

I have only tested both at a music store with a Laiho axe.

  • Always take bugeras with a pinch of salt! They look and sound great, but my 333XL infinium broke after only 3 days!!

  • @EvilPopsicleDog Damn, My Marshall MG 100HDFX half stack is still running strong after 4-5 years! I want to upgrade pretty soon but man, this Marshall I have has great tone and is super reliable!

  • @tauntauntots i just upgraded recently from a mg100dfx to an engl invader and man let me tell you, the mg100 series is a toy amp and the sooner you upgrade the sooner you will be happy

  • @deicidalmaniac That's weird I was thinking of getting an Engl as well but there a pretty penny. Did you keep the same cab that came with the mg? Yeah right now I'm just researching amps to see what one to get but if the cab that came with the mg is good then ill probably keep it and just get a new head.

  • @tauntauntots nah i had the MG100 combo so i never had a cab, i bought an engl cab aswell, and your right about it costing you a pretty penny, it was over $4500 for me and im happy with the deals i got... but australia is a shit country for buying amps..

  • Severall manufacturers now have a tube protection/bias system in place. What are they and wich one is THA KING....of TONE offcourse...

  • Anything New From ORANGE with Some kind of Tube Technology I Don't Remenber the Name of If

    The Freak Signing Off

Take Care from a Jack to a King

    Salute !

  • will you do a review of the 6262 Infinium? I'd really appreciate that, because I really don't know which one I'm gonna buy (between this and the 6262)...

    Cheers man!

  • with my 333xl i found that no matter what setting you play with....

    IT SOUNDS AWESOME!!

  • TK -- Good idea !! Try the 333XL with some different speakers. I'll bet it makes a BIG difference.

    Rock On \m/

  • And I had a Bugera 333XL... i like it but i also jave a JCM 800 (model 2210)... i didn't like the sound of the Bugera that much, but i admit that is a very good choice price/quality.

  • How about a Bogner review? Alchemist Head? Thanks and cheers.

  • @lmsjr review of the mini rectifier?

  • thumbs up if you want next the trirec from bugera and if toneking is the best\m/

  • sound like... total destruction

  • man "gonna get it started with one of those bad boys right there" will NEVER get old :P

  • I like the idea of the built-in trouble indicator that lets you know when an issue has arisen. However I, like most people, hardly ever turn the head around to look at the back unless it is sounding odd. It would make more sense to put the indicator on the front of the head. Just my opinion.

  • TTK I've seen a lot of your video's and I enjoy them greatly but...Doing the same chords over and over and over again doesn't really make a review necessary.

  • @zzzhuh I know - I need to get some new licks. Thanks!

  • This looks and sounds mighty good. I'm going to seriously consider one of these.

  • Is there a way you can easily know the difference of the old vs the newer Bugera 333XL Infinium ?

  • @hutchfromba Hey hutch. Proably the biggest give-away are the pilot lights. On the old one - they're blue. On the newer one, they're amber. Also, on the newer one - it actually says Infinium right on the front.

  • cmon guys watch ola englunds aka fearedse video about this amp and every amp

  • PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE less highs more mids

  • @FifatlasHD Got it. Thanks!

  • yea its only like $4000

  • @FifatlasHD Um, I hate to rain on your 4 digit parade - but they range from 500 - 600-ish. Of course, you can hunt down the deals, sales, etc ... but they sell for much less than you noted.

  • Hey TTK what other Infiniums do you plan on getting or already have?

  • @flyhi94 Plan on getting? I don't know. Already have - This is the only one. It's funny, because the VERY first Bugera I ever bought was the 333XL. That was back in 2008.

  • @lmsjr

Sorry, I ment like the new models like the Trirec or the Magician.

  • is this basicly a engl powerball copy? i think its the powerball anyway.

  • @ScreamoRules96 Its actually a copy of the Peavy JSX, but now with better features

  • Fender is starting to do this now too, but it's worth noting that Bugera did it first.

  • @theverbalrelease really? I didn't know that. Interesting ...

  • Lots of bass muddy rumble, but it sounds like it's probably coming from either the mic or micing technique.

  • @theverbalrelease Hmmm ... I actually mix everything down with Sennheiser HD280 Pro monitoring headphones, which have outstanding reviews for accuracy ... not sure why you are hearing the rumble?

  • @lmsjr I realized after posting the comment that "muddy rumble" wasn't the exact right phrase but I couldn't think of the word I was looking for until later, which is "boomy". The recording of the distortion, especially the intro jam, comes across boomy. I know you don't use cheap mics, but as an example, it's the same boomy sound you get when you put a cheap mic too close to a cabinet and you get a combination proximity effect and too many dB on the low frequency.

  • @theverbalrelease I have to agree with that, i noticed the boominess too.

Just got a new set of Behringer MS40s and i noticed it.

  • please toneking review the 6262 infinium, i cant choose between thee 333xl and 6262 infinium!

  • whats the differance between this and the normal 333

  • @xom400 the 333xl has 2 inputs (high and low gain), xl boost in crunch and lead channel for extra low end and gain, a noise gate, and a presence knob. The regular 333 doesn't have these features except it has a damping feature that the 333xl doesn't have.

  • @SuperGuitarMark Oh - there's the answer. Thanks SuperGuitarmark!!

  • @xom400 XL. (haha - sorry, had to). It was a spinal tap moment for me - (11 is one more than 10). All kidding aside - I'm not sure - check the specs on the Bugera website.

  • what is this modeld after ?

  • @xom400 i think after the peavey XXX but im not sure

  • Lets see a 1990 Infinium review/demo!!!!!!

  • ToneKing, can you tell if your Infinium Leds on the back of the 333XL (LIGHT UP) while the Amp is on (STANDBY) like your 1st look at the Trirec video Thanks

  • @GUITARMONSTER001 They do not light up while in standby. I just checked.

  • @lmsjr Mine do not light up either, I saw your Trirec 1st look video and it shows the lights fully lit during STANDBY that must be for demonstration purposes ???? anyways thanks for the quick response \m/ \m/

  • Sounds too shrill to me. It might have been where the tone settings were at.

    I'd pass on this one.

    Good review though TK.

  • @dgrilloin99 I have the Eminence Tone Center. i was thinking of running it through a few different speakers - so I can make a recommendation as to which speaker matches the best w/ this head. The speaker I was using is the Eminence Reignmaker. I bet w/ the Legend V12 - it will SMOKE!!!

  • ☆☆☆☆☆

  • @TheTactical6string Thank you!!

  • I love mine! Rock solid amp!

  • @rbrtrecord1 Kewl! how long have you had it?

  • @lmsjr It was shipped in two differant shipments for whatever reason. The head came Monday and the Cab came Thursday. I have heard enough of the 333xl to know it's the right amp for me. I am equally impressed by the sound of the cabinet!

  • Awful tones. The distortion sounds like a distortion pedal. Great review as always though.

  • @dbenc Thanks dbenc! Always appreciate the candor! Rock ON!

  • mine is on the way cant wait to plug in ;)

  • @Ognjen19 MINE TOO MAN CANT WAIT xD !!!

  • @JasonX716 You can post a reply too :-)

  • @Ognjen19 Cool. Post a video reply!

  • I'm digging the sound out this amp!!

  • @wiredup75 Thanks!

  • @lmsjr

can you give us a review of kerry king's marshall head with a bc rich please?

  • @0yavuz The Marshall signature series heads are waaaay expensive. I'll see what I can muster up @ NAMM. Stay tuned ...

  • Make a comparison video "Bugera 333XL vs. MesaBoogie Dual/Triple Rectifier". That would be interesting to see.

  • @peezzi Check my old videos - I did some Bugera shoot-outs already (Marshall, ENGL, etc.)

  • need to try and see what bugera thinks is optimum bias for tubes id like to see someone put in in mismatched tubes and then take a reading with a bias probe

  • @chucknspunky funny - I was thinking the same - throw in a bias probe, to see how many mA are being fed in.

  • hey man nice video like always, i really want you to review de DV MARK TRIPLE 6

    Grettings from Colombia

  • @cuartasguitar2 Got it. I'll check out DV Mark @ NAMM. Rock ON!

  • Evertime I buy something, the next day you always come out with something better and I always say "Damn, I should have got that instead." lol And where did that guitar come from? Perhaps I missed the review, though that would be rare, I see all your new vids (subscriber). Methinks you should review that if you haven't already. Great amp and review.

  • @sixstringfretter There was no review on that guitar ... but I can review it. It's a limited run Gibson RD (google it). Kind of cool ... a bit odd shaped, but cool axe fo sho. And, regarding your comment of : "Evertime I buy something, the next day you always come out with something better and I always say "Damn, I should have got that instead." I often feel the same way when I buy things. you're not alone!!

  • @lmsjr lol it's called buyers remorse, and it's a curse. I drove the little salesgirl at Sam Ash nuts last week, because I was trying to make sure that what I bought was actually what I wanted, and it paralized me! I ended up with the ESP Snakebite with the EMG JH pickups. BTW, I don't know if you have tried them, but they are worthy of a TTK review (if you haven't already) Just a badass set of pickups. Much better than the 81/85's, which are pretty damn good already!

  • Sounds much better. IS the Infinium unit a rebadged or licensed version of DIVO used in Orange amps or something developed independently by Behringer?

    Cheers.

  • @DMSProduktions Hey DMS. I don't believe this has anything to do w/ Orange at all. I am pretty confident this was a Bugera in-house technology.

  • @lmsjr Ok, still its much the same kind of thing as DIVO, digital valve management and auto biasing.

Still its a BIG step up!

  • I think this video just made me add another amp to my collection.

  • That is one nice sounding amp.. was this recorded with just a cam corder? The sound is amazing.

  • @espltdguitarlover This was recorded with a Blue enCore 100i microphone and a AT2020 Condensor - sent to Sonar via an Alesis MultiMix Audio Interface. No post processing at all. What went in is what you are hearing. Cabinet is the Eminence Tone Center Reignmaker Speaker.

  • @lmsjr Can you ansewer some questions?

Would you be doing a video on the 1990 Infinuim?

Would this be good for bedroom playing through a 1x12?

And what about bugera habit of being terriable quality this seem's abit of a wierd step to go? Have you had any problems.

  • @ad1170 Don't know on the 1990. Sure - just don't turn it on 10 - unless you have a 1x12 that can handle 120 watts! (I'd make sure you have a high wattage speaker for this head, perhaps an Eminence Legend V12 (my fav), and it's pretty high wattage. No issues w/ Bugera at all. hope that helps! Rock ON!

  • @lmsjr ty for the info.. amazing mid range guitar/amp combo

  • Comment removed

  • METAL :D Try do harmonic stuff :)

  • Bugera 6262!

  • great review once again :)

  • Bugera 1990 infinium next please :)

  • Would this be their take on the Mesa Boogie Dual or Triple Rectifier?

  • @JimmyPage968 No its a take on the Peavey XXX

  • @redukonio Oh, then I would assume the TRIREC is the clone of the Triple Rectifier?

  • @redukonio Which in turn has stolen some features from the Rectifiers..

  • I actually work at a guitar store, and we used to sell Bugera amps but we stopped because almost everyone who got one came back with problems with them. My preferred brands for Metal are Mesa Boogie, Marshall, and Blackstar (backstair gives u the most bang for your buck)

  • @MBvolcom92 That's interesting. What was the most common problem? I've seen a lot of complaints about bad tubes and melting electronics..

  • @MBvolcom92 What is your experience with the Peavey 6534 Plus?

  • @femaledeer They're pretty good, but honestly man i would rather go for a Blackstar HT series amp. They're affordable, and fucking awesome! :D

  • I would LOVE to see the Bugera 6262 infinium next ^^

because I think this amp is what I am saving money for from now on

  • ALL amps should come with built-in noise gates...There's an idea that's way overdue.

  • @gwugluud haha so true, bee bugging me for years!

  • @gwugluud 5 words for you my friend, power conditioner and copper sheilding.

  • @gwugluud even crystal clear or low output amps?

  • Great review bro. It sounds no different to the old one to my ear, so it's jjust the new valve technology people are paying the extra for. Do they have the TRIREC and Magician at the show this year?

  • @dingle1 They have the Trirec at my local shop as a special order for $870. I would like to see an in-depth review of it though. I remember when the 1960 first came out reviews were very rare.... This might be the case with the Trirec as well

  • Awesome video! This amp is amazing! You should do a review of the the new PRS SE Santana. This guitar is kicking-asses for the price it is!

  • I would really like to hear more Price Points in your reviews so we get a good idea of what you are talking about value wise. For both amps and guitars that's a big issue! Keep em coming and keep on rocking!!

  • What happened to the Trirec and Magician?

  • @Zhorellski That's one thing about Bugera -- their wishy-washiness and, should I say? Their outright lying about their product line. Extremely strange.

  • Myself and many others highly appreciate your
