Wooo! its just like country side in Russia.. Only difference - in our villages only old people are left... all young went to cities. But seems in Nigeria village life is not that boring! And you don' t have winters :P
I've been to a number of places in Europe and Central America that have a similar way of life. The video isn't intented to criticize. I live in a Nigerian city and I actually enjoy going to the village for peace and quiet. There is more to life than good roads, steady lights, and McDonalds.
no most villages look like this..and aint nothin wrong with that..i hate when ppl try to only talk about the nice and upscale places when those are few and far inbetween.. I love Nigeria for its rich and poor places..so dont try and act like eerbody livin in mansions or sumtin..
nelvette4u there is nothing wrong with this village its a normal village. i don,t know where you come from maybe you are hausa or yoruba etc. am talking about igboland here e.g abiriba, awka etiti, oji, itchi, obosi, ngwo, aku etc, to name but few are igbo villages that are almost like cities.
ok...idk what ur saying now, but b4 u said this is one of the poorest villages, and i said "no" that a lot of villages look like this nd its fine, so how can u say this is the poorest nd most are not like this, im igbo and u jus mentioned awka(a capital city)...we are not talking bout cities we talkin bout villages, and these are how most villages look..it is not the poorest!
Read my comment before you reply. awka - etiti is different fom awka(capital). awka - etiti, abiriba, aku, ngwo etc are villages but they are almost like cities. believe it or not its true nwannem
Nope, I don't agree with you. Advancement is overpriced. What is the point of advancement when u lose the very soul of your community? The neighborliness, the abandonment with which children live their daily lives, the collective responsibilities? I wont trade that for highrise buildings, fast cars, large paved roads and all the trappings of advancement.
God Bless Nigeria.
