That was excellent; first seeing the stylized cityscape, then zooming in to a realistic alley. It would be awesome if you made a flyby of various streets and alleys all rendered with the same realism - then pull back again at the end to reveal the stylized cityscape.
Wow! Most impressive. You have quite an imagination, it would seem. I'm still in the stage where I think of so many random things, I'm learning little specific effects left and right, but I can't find time to do anything bigger. lol. But yeah, I really like what you've done here. Great work!
Nice work. I would pay closer attention on the white ship when zooming in, the timing is slightly off. Also the reflections don't match the buildings. Overall, you've done pretty good work.
Thanks for the tip, but I am still a little confused with the use of the adjustment layer, did you put some kind of presets/effects on it and make it a 3D object and put it in an angle?
buildings and reflections one on top of the other, adjustment layer between them perpendicular to them..everything is 3d layers..and I applied a displacement map to the adjustment layer
I see you got stlye, Stanley Clarke is the man when it come to smooth jazz/funk/fusion....The Passenger 57 soundtrack was soo relaxing, check it out :)
very very very good work. I loved it.

May I ask how you did the reflections? I am trying to do a water reflection, and really would like to know how you did it. Thanks.
siya2005 3 years ago
reflections are the actual scenary upside down.. they look like reflections because of the adjustment/displacement layer I stuck between them..;-)

Where'd you get the Lethal Weapon/porn music?
jelewis8 4 years ago
hahah! cleverly described indeed.
It's actually a very good tune by Stanley Clarke and it's called East River Drive.
It's a cool tune if you're int jazz..if not..it's just porn music. lol
