  • I love organic products, I have food allergies so need to watch out for the gluten products. Costs more for me but still eating more healthier than majority of people. Watch out for that over glutenized, to much wheaten products.

  • The ammunition aisle is still real busy !!!

  • boycot Walmart/China

  • Hehehe, yeah, Costco actually does make some quality stuff in the Kirkland brand. And most of the brand name stuff they do carry tends to be at least decent, and often above average.

  • Economy continues to go down the toilet, and you talk about toilet paper...makes sense to me ;)

  • Angel Soft

  • Toilet paper is the only luxury item I buy anymore. I stick with the super-hand-quilted aloe vera stuff. I don't mess around with my ass wipe. If they made toilet paper out of fine silk that left my ass smelling like fresh flowers on a beautiful spring day I would get that.

  • The best toilet paper is the US Dollar.

  • @TenderTrap86 generic scots,lol

  • Hey, start early. Use Corn Cobs or pages from a catalogue. Don't forget to get a bag of lime.

  • this one was truely hilarious

  • All this talk about name brand vs. generic brand is awesome! The best way to tell if there is a difference, in food products is to read the label, they should match exactly! If they don't, the product is made differently. That is why they taste different sometimes.

  • In the UK Iused to look at who made the own brand items alot of the time they were made at the same location but now they just say packed for X store

  • On the subject of TP..lol..I've switched to generic babywipes in their place..it's cleaner and cheaper and you use less. (Just don't flush them)

  • Wow. What can you say about these times?

  • This all plays into the NWO consolidation scheme. Eventually we will all buy the same products from the same store because they'll only be one type of store selling one type of all products.

  • Between your TP vid and stellaconcepts's dehydrating pears... I have to say I feel refreshed.

Not a bad thing to go off topic on occasions. Just keep your shirt on :)

  • How long will it be before you keep the good TP in a safe and rappers rattle off on how they wipe with the 'good stuff'...

  • What you said about generic brands is true but I've found that more generic foods contain HFCS, MSG, and all the worst things you can eat...... as compared to certain brand names.

  • good stuff. I've noticed that store isle are bare in wal mart recently. I now wonder if this is why.

    Thanks again

  • They should rate toilet paper like sand paper : a cheap brand might be 400 grit for example.

This is usefull info. Thanks for your service.

  • HAHA this so funny i just feel out of my chair laughing lol

  • I cannot buy generic toilet paper. I gotta have my Quilted Northern.

My ass needs the good stuff.

  • great

  • Actually Chris Matterson speak about this as a "reducing complexity of the society". I always give example about the normal small shop and big malls - the latter has way more options. If you reduce the complexity however - its only the generic foods out there.

  • Thanks. Yeah, people are getting smarter with their money, They have, too. Jobs are scarce. I went on my third interview for the same company.

  • I just ordered 2000 garbage bags online for $25 plus $24 shipping... 2.5 cents per bag, hefty bioches...!

  • Toilet Paper is nasty. I haven't used it for years. I just keep a couple rolls for when company is over. There is a much cleaner and Free way to go about the whole thing...

  • dow futures down 85

tomorrow is gonna be a blood bath

    long vampire squids

  • Chena,

    I love you.

  • I use the 2 seashells, very economical

  • I personally buy items that are organic. One should not skimp on items that will improve health and life expectancy.

  • You mentioned soap, so I'll bring up two points regarding that subject:

    1. Walmart and Johnson & Johnson are facing a class action lawsuit in NJ over child "no tears" soap/shampoo which contains ingredients known to cause cancer.

    2. Most "soaps" are not even soap. They are detergents, but they continue to use the term soap because people trust it.

I no longer trust products that have chemical ingredients I can't pronounce. I purchased a package from CalBen Pure Soap instead and I love it.

  • Toilet paper is a great item to stock up on 'cause it may be back to corn husks, newspapers and Sear catalogs.

  • Wow Daniel, taking the toilet paper when you check out of the hotel...You are my hero ;-)

  • Wow that's incredible, Johnson&Johnson must be hurting badly.

  • Buy which gold or silver? I have been switching off between them but i have way more silver than gold.

  • Lots more upside potential in silver... However it could retest some lows it made the last few weeks.

  • I've been doing the same thing for a while now. Generic is way cheaper, but when it comes to toilet paper I gota have the good stuff.

  • Scott 1000 sheet rolls are quite good.

  • thanks

  • your quite the toilet paper expert

  • lol thx

  • Please, don't talk about toilet paper again...I'd rather not see you in that light :p lol

  • I agree VV on the store brand - its a no brainer. BUT Ive noticed that some walmart brands are going up in price and/or the good brands are lowering theirs to match. BUT, in general the brand means nothing to taste etc, so I always go cheap.

Less toliet paper - maybe everyone listened to Sheryl Crow and is using only one square at a time - LOL!

  • Of course they are reducing toilet paper space. Why do we need so much on the aisles when we have it in our wallets?

  • good point :)

  • Hi Danny,

Becareful, be very Careful what you buy; especially at Walmart. The reason being is because I dare say that 90% of the consumer goods are made in China, and the products are confirmed being Poisonous and tainted.

Moreover, Walmart has 100 Slave labour Factories in Mainland China. It is true that at least 80% of the Consumer Market in the USA is based off the Institutionalized Slavery System of Communist China.

Bottom Line: Becareful what you buy products from China. Buy USA.

  • Great place to end lol

  • haha, if you want to see what toilet paper is, watch my VERY FIRST video.

  • Thanks man.. Great vid as always. Posted a vid response.

5 stars & favorite. Plus a nice click in the corner :O)

  • LOL thx for the support

  • People think that i have a vendetta against China. This is a misunderstanding and not an understanding of the True reality of the Chinese Civilization, controlled by the Chinese Communist Party for the last 50+ years. When people dont know the truth about the US Consumer economy tied deeply with the Chinese Communist Controlled economy & the Poisonous products pouring into the USA cause they are so cheap... I dont blame them. But when people learn the truth and still fall on deaf ears...Sinful.

  • Vision, way off topic here- but you "fo-sho" need to flaunt your metals and give us all a little Silver Porn video of your collection. We all know that you are hiding it in the back yard...lol

  • I don't buy anything at walmart. I don't give a shit how much I'd save. Walmart is one the major scourges on the American economy. Anyone buying from them is unknowingly destoying America & our economy. Walmart buys from china, our enemy! Walmart uses child labor, but no, that isn't your child so you don't care. Walmart skins cats & dogs alive for clothing that you buy. How fucking nice! Please, boycott walmart. They are ruining everything in America & they are in bed with our enemy-China.

  • Perhaps if our government policies wouldn't encourage such greed an heartlessness in the first place, all that stuff Walmart sells would come from the US, not China.

  • Could not have said it better myself. Wal-Mart needs a boycott.

  • haha I am a manager at kroger its true

  • Soon U.S. dollars will also be a great inexpensive alternative to name brand toilet papers.

  • LOL - You should watch my first video.

  • Daniel, nothing wrong with talking about toilet paper! LOL I mean seriously, this is pretty much where this country is headed in its current direction. Plus, it's a whole lot better than using your hand. Bravo bud! *****

  • lol Vision like the expense tp

  • I shop at the 99 cents only store for soups, beans, juice, toilet paper, paper towels... You get a good deal there when you are decerning about quality.

  • toilet paper and talk of the economy go hand in hand. You can't get more fundamental than that.

  • I just buy sandpaper cuz I'm a hard ass.

  • I care more where something is made than who makes it. Products made in USA will always go in my cart first.

  • The Federal Reserve makes great toilet paper as well. ¦P

  • dont talk shit about my soft sandpaper.

  • Any kind of toilet paper is soft when coampared to frn's.

  • 5* for the toilet paper talk.

  • Anybody tried the John Wayne generic TP? It's Rough, Tough & don't take S^it off anybody.........HeHe

  • Nonetheless essential info! ;)

  • Great tip about generic brands!

  • VV, Did you notice that just after the market closed today, the Federal Reserve raised it's discount rate to 3/4% to be effective TOMORROW?

Now that's some advance warning for you.

  • read "the ticker guy's" blog; he made a good point why they did that today to be effective tomorrow

  • Toilet paper????

    Lets talk about making money.

I hope you bought your bear market funds at DOW 10,250?

    The economy is not good.

  • lol a soft sandpaper

  • True, I used to work in Leviton many years back and the same electrical light switch would be package as Ace Hardware, K-Mart etc.

  • All I can say on generic vrs name brand is there is a difference in quality even if that product came from the same company.

It's called quality control and as an example in plastic trash bags they can skimp on the gauge of plastic used for the same bag, no brand rejection their as name is not attached.

Meat packing plants have the same meat inspector, and store brands that had their labels made by name brands both had the same inspector number on the package. But the name brand tasted better.

  • @Atoyota

That's not true. There are federal laws put in place that require that generic brands are of the same quality as brand names. Generic brands may not always be made of the same products but they have to pass all the inspection tests as brand names. As for taste, that's relative to each person. How good something tastes cannot be measured. Therefore it cannot be regulated. This hype about brand names being of better quality is just propaganda for the consumer.

  • I've worked grocery retail for 30 years. I know.

Their may be laws, but how easily are they enforced?

They have to make a product cheaper, and to do that they cut quality. I'm not saying that a store or generic brand is not 'as' good all the time but it is never ever better.

It's usually 'almost as good' which reflects the pennies you save.

  • Great story, i was reading about this the other day. How fast do you think it will take to see the fallout from this choice, in regards to layoffs from the companys getting cut from shelf space??

And the fed raises its rate, time to watch the market implode.

  • makes sense, BUT, if the same company make the generic that makes the name brand, and people still buy 24 rolls of TP, it doesn't matter to the jobs because no loss of products is done.

  • Yeah but only if your one of the few company's that can work out that kind of a deal, The makers of Hefty brand only got back in by making Wall Marts value brand for them.

  • A good way to tell if your generic brand is the same as a brand name item is to look on the back of the box and see where it was made. Most generic brands are made in the same place as the brand name products. Even if they weren't made in the same place you should look at the ingredients, Most of the time, they are are the same.

  • vision victory, an itch economically. please scratch it for me, no fallacy.

victory Independence. Victoria dances in Indy penance densely. She glides swift in savings, off brand to name brand shaving. The price. eat rice. storage closet is one thing. bing. save money, fell the sting.

    Vision victory out.

  • We already have enough toilet paper :O)

  • The Fed produces quite fancy ones with funny heads, numbers & symbols on it...a lil' thin, though...

  • I buy the cheap sh** also. Example: Off brand peanut butter many times has less than desired shaped peanuts in it (like I give a sh** what shape my peanuts are lol).

Daniel I sent a video to my uncle where you talked about buying off-brand products and he started doing the same (this was over a year ago probably).

Keep it up! 5 stR as usual

  • toilet paper, soap and mouth wash! WE ARE TURNING INTO FRANCE!

  • Here in Australia, we have two big appliance stores. One called Harvey Norman and the other Called Joyce Mayne. Both are right next to each other. They compete in prices. This is a joke because Harvey owns Joyne lol.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE IMF DUMPING 200 TONS OF GOLD ON THE MARKET?

  • Platinum: When did that happen? the IMF I mean.

  • I heard it last night on the ABC (Australia) on a program called "Lateline" Try Google it - it may come up?

    Gordon

  • Yeah Ive heard that too that they are the same product. Smart people know that brand names for many products are a scam.

  • It's funny that you take toilet paper to your hotels.

I usually take the extra roll FROM the hotel!

    And the soap too.

  • Thats cause your living in a cave. hahahah

  • You cut me to the quick!
