Man, this is a tearjerker, and I don't even know this kid. Probably because I saw my oldest grow up much like the kid in these photos & clips & become a Marine at Parris Island back in 2005. And now my youngest is about 4 weeks into RCT training at PI right now.

Thanks to ALL Marines, past, present, and future! You guys are the best!

This is MCRD San Diego. If you have ever seen a TV show called Gomer Pyle, USMC you wil notice at the start of every show Marine Color Guards marching through the same arch with the Marine Corps emblem above.

I went through in '82. Really miss the Corps.
