  • always liked this lady, she appears to have followed what she believed in, i mean how many of us would loved to have been pop stars and novelists and had been respected at both art forms?

  • Pick me Louise! Pick me! Two sexy Weners are better than one!

  • confirmation if anyone requires it: i'd defo still tap that

  • Absolute twit of a woman.

  • @AlxFitz Kindly post a list of your top 30 singles, platinum albums, and published novels.

  • Ahh the Sleeper bike returns !!!! woof woof ...

  • It's nice to see Louise again and I am happy to say I still would. Frankie Boyle's new character is a bit tame though, isn't he?

  • Evans loved her as did he did many birds he had on that overated shite,Louise rarely worn a bra, enough said

  • i had such a silly crush on Louise back in the day...oh to be 15 again...she still looks great :D

  • Her book 'Different For Girls' is a fantastic read.

  • Did she say Sleeper reunion ?

  • I saw Sleeper at the Astoria in Charing Cross Road, London, in 1995. Cant believe it was 16 years ago. I still listen to their first album "Smart" from time to time. I remember Louise had some hardcore fans who really worshipped her - guys in the audience were screaming "Louise, I love you!" regularly during the gig. I look back on the Britpop era favourably, it was an exciting time for music. Sadly the Astoria has now been demolished to make way for the Crossrail project. Memories, memories..

  • @EnglishChannel1 they were a shockling bad live band - that said I would suggest "inbetweener" was one of the truly great songs in the Britpop era and the it girl was a lost gem of an album.

  • @jesustonight "Goodnight Steve McQueen" is great fun. If some TV or film producer wants to make a film that captures the Britpop years they should snap up the rights.

I guess there's more money in "Chicklit" - which is a pity because Louise was always one of the lads and writes male characters brilliantly.

  • Geoff has come a long way since his days as Phil Wood's travel reporter on AA roadwatch back in the Piccadilly 1152 MW era. Happy days. Am I the only person who remembers? Apart from Geoff, of course. Do the travel in rhyme Geoff...
