loved this ending too it just showed you that as in Micheals case maybe sometimes it is best to keep friends close rather than spoil that friendship by pressing for more.Brian and Micheal were always good for one another but Brian and Justin were just such a hot couple to me Brian and justin have been one of the hottest couples in a tv programme ever.Loved this series i laughed and cried and i lived every moment of every charecter through thier good and bad times just brill well wrote fantastic.

i don't really get why people think just because justin moved to new york that the two of them broke up. everything that lead up to his departure-- brian keeping the rings, "it's only time", their last scene together, and then the ending scene at babylon-- shows hope for the future.

I knew it wasn't really possible for Brian & Justin to stay together, but somewhere, I hoped...

At the begening, Brian has nothing : no lover, no son... He gets both of them, accepts them, loves them, then loses both of them. He just stays with a heart which is now able to love, and yet is empty.

I loved the end of Queer As Folk (I have a thing for bittersweet endings, and I LOVED that it wasn't ridiculously corny and Bri and Justin didn't march off into the sunset, even if I whole heartedly believe they are meant for each other and will be together again someday)... but I was always deeply saddened by there being no Justin in the final moments. Not even a clip of him getting on a plane or packing up his things or in New York or anything. I think that, for me, would've been perfect.

I hated the ending.Basically, Justin just left Brian the 3rd time in a row.First he went off with Etan, than he goes to L.A. to work on a movie and now he goes to New York to become an Artist(or at least to become a better known artist).And on top of that, he claims that he does it in favor of brian, cause he(brian) would never get happy with marriage.How is that a good ending?I would have loved it, if Justin would have entered babylon to tell Brian he couldn't leave him and stays. Hmm, am I the only one interprets the ending of this show differently and not heartbroken at all? Sure, I understand that people are pissed that Justin isn't at the final Babylon scene, but y'know, in a realistic sense, that doesn't really mean anything. All I see is the Brian who's not tricking, drinking or getting stoned. I see a Brian who "whatever else happpen, by all means, keep on dancing" as Justin once told him to. I dunno, I'm just convinced without a doubt that B/J are STILL together.

And you know what? The creators of QaF agree with me. They've been quoted as officially saying that "Brian and Justin ARE together and will ALWAYS be together, as they share a bond that transcends way beyond the physical."

They're soulmates, dammit. B/J know that. We know that. The creators know that. That's why I'm happy and not heartbroken at all. I can't and won't underestimate Brian and Justin's relationship just because of NY and that we can't see Justin in Babylon. He's just late. :P

The ending to the show was a little disappointing but wasn't there a deleted scene with another guy just like Justin outside the clubs and then like a younger version of Brian so it kinda starts over?

I was heartbroken that Justin was left out of this final scene. Yeah, it began in Babylon without Justin... but Justin was a fundamental part of this series, and it killed me that that was denied. I mean, we had people like Ben that didn't even come in until half way through season two, but we can't have Justin!? The Brian/Justin relationship and its development was such a HUGE part of the show the whole way through, and I think meant a lot to so much of the audience... like I said. Heartbroken.
