  • So did you spawn your white betta with your white female betta right?

  • imagine if fish had to pay child support O-O

  • hey do u still have some? do u sell?

  • HOW DO WE BREED THEM PLEASE TEACH ME

  • @georgepetlover is really easy tho... start by givin a lot of protein to your male and female for about two weeks or more. set up your tank, let the male to built his bubble nest n let him meet the female... they need to be able to see each other and I always let them like that one day. then take out the female and just wait... If they do not spawn in about 3 hours. take the female out and try another day. but if u picked they right male n female they should start spawnin tho.

  • @georgepetlover BOY FISH + GIRL FISH = 500 NEW FISH duhhhhhhh!!!!! LMFAO

  • How are you telling mama from papa, cause i really saw no difference in them. He's a plaket, right? They have wonderful coloring btw...and your tank set up is amazing.

  • Are these Betta Fish?

  • How do u keep so many alive????

  • Where did u get the parents??

  • so cool. had fun counting them?

  • u keep them all together? they dont fight?

  • hi guys i need help im knew with this kind of fish but i see hm,plaka and some others what does that mean?

  • great video :O)

  • cute baby bettas

    they are ADORABLE.

  • hey! nice work! =D they are all so adorable! xD u should try a male and female breed of different colours! =D then ull get a great variation of babies! =D congrats on the white babies =D

  • The parents are in this video as well!

At about 1.42 min you'll see the male and later also the female and the almost fully grown babies at the end of the movie!

  • good luck raising them lol ;)

  • oh thanks

  • dude 1000 quite impossible betta fish can have up to 500 but anyway nice vid

  • mine died and only one survive what should i feed them in the first week.?

  • duh!! as soon as they're free swiming you have to feed them infazoria or they'll starve. You can grow infazoria if you just let hey sit around in water for a couple days in a bucket.

  • tats not reli true, u can always feed them brine shirmps! brine shimrps are much easier and safer to use as a food for ur fry =D

  • no you can't "always feed them brine shrimp". believe it or not, right after hatching fish fry like htese are too small to eat brine shrimp, even if the shrimp are just hatched. Until they have been free-swimming for about a week they have to eat infazoria.

  • @CarpetSharkFreak reli? hmm...my cuzin has been breeding bettas, and he has been feeding them brine shrimps as they were fry, so tats why i told u tat =) lol...well yeah, u have to start feeding them when they are free swimming =D lol...

  • could you list what you feed them in order since they were born until now?....in general, was it hard to raise them from birth?,,,

  • The eggs are in the bubble nest. What do I feed the fry?

  • boil an egg and get the yolk and smush it and place it in the water

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I HAVE A MALE AND FEMALE BETTA FOR 4 YEARS

I REALLY WANT TO MATE THEM

    GIVE ME SOME IDEAS

  • ummm place under water roses and play soft music or get another pair

  • They look a bit pink to me! But still nice

  • so cute!

  • so pretty lol, what are you going to do with them? sell them?

  • wow you got so many spawns is there any tips you can give to me because i have tried it once but failed they all died..

  • What do you do with all of them? Are u breeding them for a purpose?

  • congrats on successfully spawning them.. u have a beautiful spawn of babies.. =)

  • What are their names? :)

  • Comment removed

  • I can see all the hard work you put into building this tank with all these beautiful fishes.

    Congratulations!

  • NICE!!!!

  • a Female Betta can only hold untill 500 eggs. How would it be 1000 babies?

  • Because it's 4-5 spawns, but all from the same parents! I kept them in many different tanks. Normally I think an adult female will hold about 150-200 eggs, but some big ones might have up to 300. Although I doubt that one female can hold 500 eggs! :)

  • fry em' =]

  • Great video...I love the music, too!

  • Aw this makes me miss my old betta Shrimpy. I had him since he was real little and he lived for about 6 years.

    Im a nerd.

  • where are u from i whant a couple from you

  • Wow, I have a little betta fish I bought in July just like one of these nicknamed Haku (I'd call him 'white orchid' in Japanese because of his red gills, but I'm lazy). How often and how much do you feed one of these kinds of betta?

  • sweet !! how old ?

  • damn i wish i had a tank like that damn do another video i wanna see the whole tankkkkkk i wanna have one like thatttt

  • how much will you sell the fish for??

  • wow...thats a bunch full of work...was it hard to take care of em...im truly amazed because i have succesfully spawned my bettas...they are about two weeks now...i onlli have about 20 or less left...looking at this like wow...im gonna buy some 5 star plakats soon to breed...im gonna try and start my own buisness...so how much do petsores buy a betta from u each...and wat petstore do u sell them too,,,

  • Wow, very pretty!

  • Pretty! I have a white plakat named Hercules!

  • damn!!!!

  • wont they fight when there older O_O ?

  • Usually I'll sell the fish at 3-4 cm, just about when they sexually mature and start to fight more.

Also when kept together since babies and so many in one tank make them less aggressive and the attacks are more spread out.Wellfed fish are also more calmer than starved ones.

In this case with the white Bettas almost 90 % turned out to be female, that are less aggresive as well!

  • Wow, those are incredibly beautiful... probably the most beautiful fish I've seen!

I've just started being interested in bettas, but why is it that the ones in the pet stores don't seem to move very much at all? The ones in the video swim around quite often...

  • Depends on what kind of Betta, if they have long fins they will move less because they get more quickly exhausted when they swim!

Maybe the tank is too small, or the fish is not feeling well!?

  • dangs. wows. looks as if everyone of ur frys for m ur spawn all survived. nice. most of my narrow down to liek 30 or so. hmmm. nice baby bettas.

  • Thanx!

Actually I had a total of 1000 babies in several tanks about the same size!

3 spawns from the same pair, also in this video!

Had to move them around now and then,so that the smaller ones had a chance to grow as well!

Also managed to sell them all at US 1,50 $ a piece!

  • how do you put three spawns together from the same pair of parents. one spawn will eventually be bigger and attack the smaller ones. and also. the betta pair needs at least a week or so to heal and get energy back from teh previous spawn. and you sold each betta $150 each???

  • They spawned with about a week between each time. Once the fryes grow up they will grow differently so I have to move them around in the tanks according to size. When you put smaller ones together with the same size they will grow quicker. There will always be some size difference but with spawns born so close together, they will eventually catch up if you put them with tankmates of similar size! They were sold a 1 dollar 50 cent each!!!

  • how old was the fry when you sold them?

  • About 4-5 months.

  • oh. nice. wat kind of bettas are these? i cant really tell. it looks sorta like short tails, but they are young so icant really tell yet. wat are they?

  • That's just opaque(white)coloured short-tail plakats, Betta splendens.

  • oh wows. i would like some of those. hahah... thats a nice breed.
