Just for the ski of maybe not seeing the same posts in the videos: original can't just recommend you a board based off your height weight ect. It's all about your preference. Do some research. Different boards are good for different styles of riding there isn't just one simple board that does everything. Like carving and bombing don't really go together. Anyway, there are too many variables, and everyone likes different things so no one can truly give you the answer your looking for but yoursel

My friends and I are heading to Puerto Rico in Feb 2012 cannot wait! We were going to sit on the beach for most of the trip, but after seeing this series we are packing our boards and slide gloves!

@danmanmj im from Puerto Rico and even i dont know these awesome spots...remember these sites are far from the city,these sites r what we call "campo", with good orientation help you should find them,PR is small...compared to other places...references-> Guajataca, Quebradillas, Rincon...these r cities where actual crews ride...Cities here are small lol so you can check them out in no time...

@Denvjams69 check out the new carbon Apex 37! You could either do the flyweight if you want a flexier board or the middleweight if you want something with more stiffness. This is a great all-around board for all types of riding.

@lwpoop1 If you want a cruising board, the Pintail 40 or 43 would probably be a good match for you. If you want a very versatile board that you can do more freestyle tricks on, you might want the Apex 37 in the Middleweight flex.

Question, Im just starting lonboarding and I want to get better trucks and wheels, I want to have good ones for sliding, carving, and good control without it being overly touchy to the point where I flinch and I fall. I want some Original trucks but which ones should I get? Im 5'10 135 pnds and have a 37-40" Board. Thanks alot and love the videos. Lonboarding is the closest to flying with full controll.. Cant describe it enough.

@CaptainFaceKick You'll want a shorter lighter board for your height and weight. Check out the Pintail 37. It should be a good cruiser carver for someone like you.

Hey Original,

Loving your videos! I'm 14 years old, 5"5, 100 pounds, and i ride a ripstik which won't take hills. An ideal longboard for me would carve on hills, but still pump on flats like my ripstik. I'll try sliding too.

I'm looking at the Derringer 28 with:

- S6 trucks

- Retro BigZig 75mm wheels

- not sure on bearings, which are your fastest?

will the derringer shuvit? if not what tricks can it do?
