I saw on the news that some of the boundaries are being changed for some of the FCPS and wondered if thats the meetings she is referring to. I wouldnt want my kids to attend classes at a school that receives lower scores either, who would? Is the parents objecting to the boundary change the reason she calles the students "snotty-nosed little brats"? I wondered why she included all the other FCPS students, maybe thats why!

I go to the school that everyone's complaining about. Honestly, it's not bad at all. It's actually really uptight lately and the kids and teachers are fine. It's actually annoying that it's so uptight. The only reason that they're making everything so un-fun lately is because of everyone bashing the school. Well actually, I go to TJHSST, go Colonials, and FCPS hasn't been making it a little more tight around the county. Their recent FY09 cuts amount to 23.6M dollars and what are the changes? Our school has its buses cut. Do you honestly think there is a reason to understand and study the politics of FPCS before you dive right in and begin to discharge your opinions? If you actually went to Lake Braddock, sofiag88, you'd have a different opinion about the public school system and its administrators.

I hated school when I was young, absolutely hated it. I never would have called a teacher or administrator to complain about ANYTHING. My how times have changed. Hopefully this child will put his energy and thoughts to accomplishing more than just getting another day off from school. He needs to grow up. Graduation is just a few months away. First of all, usually Fairfax County closes schools early when there is a snowstorm during school. Dave called during lunch and wondered why they didn't close school early not why they didn't close school at all and make it a snowday. It was pretty dangerous driving back from school because Fairfax County does not have enough road crew to clear even 2 inches of snow.

I think he had a right to question why there as mo snow day. Shure 3 inches of snow may not be a lot but 3 inches could still be a reason to call a snow day. If the snow is a wet snow it can make the roads slick and thing could be hazardous if the show was a dry powder and it was windy. I have seen them close schools where I live in NY which is along lake ontario.

I believe this student either implied or outright stated that Mr. Tistadt did not care about the schools and students and perhaps didn't even work a full day. It was a serious invasion of privacy and he deserved that response.

And as far as the message content is concerned, the AP revealed such when they reported all Dave Kori asked about was snow days. Hence, Mrs. Tisdadt had an extreme over-reaction (arrogant, condescending, hateful, spiteful, etc) to an innocent question.

You might be interested to know Dave Kori tried to contact Mr. Tisdadt at work BEFORE home.
