This song makes me sad, reminds me of when I faked being ill to watch the final episode of DP live air in Japan, it was important to me, and I wanted to watch the end of a fantastic era. Long live the DP trio! Ash, Dawn, and Brock! You were a comfort for me in some real dark times, seeing Dawn overcome her dark times gave me strength, and I eventually overcame them too. DP series!
Personally, I don't think you can have watched pokemon all through and say 'nothing has changed.' Things changed big time when the third generation shows came out. Now, I'm a pokemon fan through and through, but pokemon seemed to have lost a bit of its whimsical qualities and it doesn't really teach kids morals like it used to, though I can't say much for the BW series since I haven't watched it. The Movies, however, I don't see nearly as much change in, though there still is some.
@ISewSquids As for the games and the pokemon themselves, I feel the third gen. and most of the fourth gen. aren't as good as the rest, they seem somewhat less creative than the other generations. I very much enjoy the fifth generation, mostly because they completely created new pokemon for the new region, along with such a wonderful story. It just felt like the beginning all over again.
I really miss Diamond and Pearl. People say they hate that series, but to me it is my favorite overall. I mean Jessie succeeds as a coordinator, who doesn't love that? I really hate how Ash isn't travelling with the female playable character in Best Wishes, cause I like it better when they don't focus so much on Ash, but on the new girl as well. Cilan is cool and has a fun personallity. As much as I love Brock Im both glad and sad he got replaced. In DP he was just ''there'' he didn't do much.
I really tried hard to enjoy this season, but I just....couldn't. No offence to the folks who did, but this is what I thought was wrong with it:
1. Dawn had the exact same dream as May.
2. Buneary NEVER learned a new move same for Croagunk.
3. I miss Brock too, but he only had 3 Pokemon for 100+ episodes and never really did anything amazing until the second last one where his Happiny evolved.
4. Torterra being a FAIL constantly.
5. Team Rocket just sucking ( their now badass in BW though)

I stopped watching Pokemon when Black and White came out in the US, I just don't enjoy it as much as I did with the sinnoh, Iris and Dent are just really boring and so is Ash, its like they just drained the personality and emotion of a really decent TV series.

To tell the truth, the 5th gen is alright. I like the pokemon. It's just the fact that Brock had to leave that made me disappointed. It's hard to let go of him after going through so much with Ash
I watched the Pokemon series when it first came out in Korea (1997) and nothing changed for me. It really irritates me when people say that the 5th gen Pokemon "suck." First it was "4th gen is so ugly" and now since a new gen came out, it's automatically "5th gen is so ugly" People can be so ignorant these days. Honestly, I love the BW series, especially Dent. Nostalgia freaks need to give it a rest -_- Pokemon hasn't changed; just your thoughts, imagination, and tolerance.

@paxchs i dont really agree with you when Gen I came out i started liking it and eventually became a pokemon fan, when Gen II came out i thought wow! more pokemon and cooler looking! it's gonna be great! when Gen III came out, i didnt really like misty leaving but still thought new gen would be awesome cuz i saw the games and pokemon and got really excited and liked them, when Gen IV came out i found it a bit repetitive and idea lacking but it was still great and was still being pokemon itself

Those of you who haven`t seen the orignals because you were not born back then should type in 2ba master soundtrack & listen to all the songs (In the orignal seasons there were a lot of emotions eg fuuny, sad & also morals). @na163113 i could easily, and I know that I'm not the biggest fan. There's Vulpix, Growlithe, Ponyta, Staryu, Slowpoke, Onix, Charmander, Electrode, Koffing, Arbok, Rhydon, Butterfree... I can name most of them. I only got into Pokemon in 2007 because I never watched Cartoon Network, and it's been a huge part of my life ever since. Just because we weren't into it back then doesn't mean we don't know anything about it, mind you.
@esesolox3 Me too, i cried during that epsiode when she left. i didn't cry when Misty or May left, and May was my favorite character. So crying when Dawn left was so shocking to me. (I think Piplup had something to do with it). I didn't realize how much I would miss her until she was gone. I want her back now :((

Even though that I am not normally a DP fan, and this song is the shortest-running ever (Only 8 episodes). But admittedly, this song is very good to hear, and suits with the fact that it is the last ending theme in DP series.
i wish instead of making best wishes they should've made a Hoenn Battle Frontier Saga with Pokemon Master Ash, Top Coordinator Dawn, and Pokemon Doctor Brock.

DP was awesome if i had to criticise somethings it would be the so many contest episodes that dawn lost, the fact that they made quite some useless episodes etc. the poor importance brock had in it, apart from it it was great, awesome rivals, very strong and powerful pokes (except for torterra in its torterra stage) anyways in the end i did felt sad about dp ending
I never hated the Japanese dub but i never watched it because i watched it in English because it was GOOD! But now the dub is piss poor done and it seems like theres no effort put into it. I miss the old voice actors at least they had emotion and didnt sound retarded. Now i watch the Japanese dub which is really good and i like it but i have memories with the Old dub and when i hear this song it reminds me of my childhood and all the great quotes from Pokemon. I MISS IT SO MUCH!

I feel like Brock will be back. That "good bye" didn't feel authentic. Not sure if I'm explaining it right. Like when a character leaves there's just a whole way the writers go about writing them off. And this just felt like Brock was saying "catch ya later".
Good song, but DP were the worst games ever! the anime was an abomination to man kind. I did really like Dawn but just the way the anime was writen was so bad. that was a bad 4 years for pokemon. Now with Best Wishs they are going to make the anime pure again and i love it so far because it is like the 1st season <3

@RoddickFarrence589 That is the episode in where Ash, Brock and Dawn part ways definitely. They leave Dawn in Sinnoh, and when they are back to Kanto, at this usual road crossing, Ash heads to Pallet town and Brock to Pewter city....

I was coming back from my local pool, and for some reason when I got into the shower I started singing this. (Only a bit of it, I can't sing the full song.)
I hadn't heard it in awhile, and this brings a tear to my eye...
Dawn was annoying at first but in the last few... the last two seasons? She got better. But, the Japanese Dawn will always rule over the English Dawn, first or final season...
I miss Brock most of all. >8(

Those of you who haven`t seen the orignals because you were not born back then should type in 2ba master soundtrack & listen to all the songs (In the orignal seasons there were a lot of emotions eg fuuny, sad & also morals). Alot of people that are now adults cry or feel like crying when listeneng to old songs. They also wish that they could go back in time.

@na163113 i could easily, and I know that I'm not the biggest fan. There's Vulpix, Growlithe, Ponyta, Staryu, Slowpoke, Onix, Charmander, Electrode, Koffing, Arbok, Rhydon, Butterfree... I can name most of them. I only got into Pokemon in 2007 because I never watched Cartoon Network, and it's been a huge part of my life ever since. Just because we weren't into it back then doesn't mean we don't know anything about it, mind you.

@esesolox3 Me too, i cried during that epsiode when she left. i didn't cry when Misty or May left, and May was my favorite character. So crying when Dawn left was so shocking to me. (I think Piplup had something to do with it). I didn't realize how much I would miss her until she was gone. I want her back now :((

1. the fuckingly sad theme they used
2. the incredible story they lived in sinnoh (chimchar, ash and paul and piplup's not evolving decision)

Even though that I am not normally a DP fan, and this song is the shortest-running ever (Only 8 episodes). But admittedly, this song is very good to hear, and suits with the fact that it is the last ending theme in DP series.

DP was awesome if i had to criticise somethings it would be the so many contest episodes that dawn lost, the fact that they made quite some useless episodes etc. the poor importance brock had in it, apart from it it was great, awesome rivals, very strong and powerful pokes (except for torterra in its torterra stage) anyways in the end i did felt sad about dp ending

I never hated the Japanese dub but i never watched it because i watched it in English because it was GOOD! But now the dub is piss poor done and it seems like theres no effort put into it. I miss the old voice actors at least they had emotion and didnt sound retarded. Now i watch the Japanese dub which is really good and i like it but i have memories with the Old dub and when i hear this song it reminds me of my childhood and all the great quotes from Pokemon. I MISS IT SO MUCH!

I love this song! Pokemon Best wishes is awsome. And I looked at the BW pokemon, I didnt like almost all of them at first, but when I researched each pokemons inspiration of why they created them...I fell in love with generation 5!!!!! Pokemon season 1 and 2 were the best

I feel like Brock will be back. That "good bye" didn't feel authentic. Not sure if I'm explaining it right. Like when a character leaves there's just a whole way the writers go about writing them off. And this just felt like Brock was saying "catch ya later".

BW sucks, Satoshi new visual sucks and the new characters are no charismatic at all. It look like they want to make more kids watch the show.

Good song, but DP were the worst games ever! the anime was an abomination to man kind. I did really like Dawn but just the way the anime was writen was so bad. that was a bad 4 years for pokemon. Now with Best Wishs they are going to make the anime pure again and i love it so far because it is like the 1st season <3

@RoddickFarrence589 That is the episode in where Ash, Brock and Dawn part ways definitely. They leave Dawn in Sinnoh, and when they are back to Kanto, at this usual road crossing, Ash heads to Pallet town and Brock to Pewter city....
