Pc will always win if you have an amazing pc, because of how much you can control in pc. Unlimited possibilities- this is why i am a pc gamer.

@yup436 PC costs 2000 dollars each 2 years. You can have all the consoles with all the best games for that money. I play EVERYTHING, PC included. Know why? Because PC doesnt have, Mario Galaxy, MGS4, Uncharted, Zelda etc etc. Exclusive titles.

I admit that I use emulator for N64 even though I have the console, because the PC can process the graphics much better than the N64 (after 10 years!), but the PC can never emulate the consoles right away. Its still 5 years too early to emulate gamecube.

@snake1mi gamecube and Wii have an emulator. It's called dolphin. PS2 has one as well called PSX2. It takes much more power to emulate than it does to actually play a game made for PC.

PlayStation changed gaming not just visually but physically as well. no playstation no disk based gameing on a console which would mean we would be stuck with n64 graphics at max today

@lonewolfs90 Actually, disc-based games really has nothing to do with it. The Playstation was all-around a more powerful console than the N64, from the CPU on up. While disc-based games were certainly cheaper than the early flash-based memory of the N64, it really did nothing for graphics (except for perhaps allowing more storage space). In the modern time, it becomes less of an issue, although flash storage is still more expensive than discs.

@nysoni Many engines have real time physics. Unreal engine has physx apex destructibles (though, the consoles can't really handle it), CryEngine 3 has real time physics and a better lighting engine, and Naughty Dog's engine has real time destruction and real time fluid simulation. That entire ocean from the boat scene in uncharted 3 was a fluid simulation, the boat and all of the objects on the boat were reacting in real time to the water
