  • You are the best reviewer ever! You put in time into every detail of the product, great stuff, keepem coming.

  • good review, and I always like to see any kind of publicity for Serengeti, the best sunglasses range ever made. I think that when the Serengeti range were made in the USA, from late 1983, until about 1999, the fitting and finish were generally 'better', and the range was not so wide. Since Corning sold the brand to Bushnell (and I stand to be corrected), the fitting of the US lenses were contracted out to about four different factories in Italy....with an office in France! But, still great.

  • Where are Serengeti sunglasses made??? The reason why I am asking is I am looking to purchase a pair from eBay and some say japan some say USA ??? Could you tell me which eBay seller u purchased your pair from because there are so many shifty sellers out there your pair are genuine.. How much should I be paying for a pair like you got?? Excellent review AAA+++

  • @TAXCHEAT They are made in Italy but they are sold in the states by authorized dealers, I sent you an ebay link, hope it helps.

  • Very nice video and great review. I am a huge fan of Serengeti Sunglasses and have tried most other brands. I keep coming back to them because of their photochromic features, I never have to take them off. I am surprised to see the flaw in manufacturing, usually they have a very high standard and great finish. I will be reviewing my Serengetis soon, check them out and let me know what do you think. Thanks.

  • @dochollidayda Yeah the lens popped back in no problem, very odd for Serengeti's to do that though. Look forward to your review!

  • Great info thanks, particularly the stuff about photochromic lenses. They have these on sierratradingpost for about 65 bucks. I have 2 pairs of this brand and have had no problems. You'd think for the money the lenses would not be out of alignment. At least you didn't have to send them back. Cheers!

  • @captainvideo1981 Thanks for posting, yeah you would think they would have placed the lens properly but these have also been discontinued so I am sure that they have been stored in a warehouse for some time which could also be a factor. Thanks also for the $65 tip, good to know as I may buy another pair.

  • @captainvideo1981 Do you have yours RX for an eye prescription or just use them as sunglasses? I am curious if they RX the actual lens that is in them or replace the lens itself?

  • @FranksTechHelp Don't know why that posted three times!? Oh well, I just use these for sunglasses. I purchased a clip-on sunglasses for my specs recently. I hate them as I cannot focus propery. I may try these with prescription lenses as I have had my others awhile and the style is very retro as my kids say. I've owned rayban, oakleys, armani, nautica etc. but I like Serengheti.... almost as much as my Oliver Peoples.
