Eddie STILL is hot, @normals, OMFG, just look at him on any day, and he is the most beautiful man I've ever laid my eyes on, even moreso than the British actor Jeremy Irons (his film 'Damage' is incomparable) yes, Eddie lives on as the singlemost talented, beautiful man who ever opened his mouth to sing...and @Powerchucker, I agree, but only if I could see PJ in every concert they played that decade :)
I was 15 when I first heard this ... and felt it!! Can I relive it? Experience it "what I felt" again? I'm 36 now. Still dreamen ... but Could it be that it's not just youth but always truth?
I saw PJ at Lollapalooza '92 in Reston, VA right after high school graduation. I freaked when they busted into this song and then, right before the 2nd verse Eddie got on one of his roadies shoulders and leaned over the metal crowd barriers into the first couple rows. I high fived him right as he sang the "hands out, grabbing things" line. It was an epic moment in my young life, and cemented them as my favorite band in the world for years to come.
It must be weird for Pearl Jam to watch these older videos because they have matured but still remember exactly how they felt at the time loving their songs.
I was lucky enough to see Pearl Jam in the mid 90's, a few times. They were always great, and I wish I had gotten the chance to go see them this early on. Looks like it was a great show.
This was great...good job with the camera whie Eddie was surfing. It's a wonder Jeff didn't get cracked by the mic. I like the security guy's face at 4:00.
fucking greatest band, still incredible to this day live, hahahaha the guy with the ponytail in front of the camera is tweeking hard, maybe his body is just trying to express itself and thats the only way he can do it, hahahaa, by the way thats not faith no mores' song its sabbaths at 5:50
I love how every video from this show has a comment about the kid in the hat. I wonder if he is still around. Unfortunately it kind of ruins the videos haha.
