I'm currently in Halifax, but I was born and raised on Cape Breton Island. I terribly miss home, with it's forests and lakes and beautiful views. I come to watch your video whenever I get homesick. It takes me out of the city for a few minutes.

Wow does that ever remind you of the beauty of home(inveress-Broad Cove) , I was raised a Cape Bretoner and i am so dame Proud to be one. I don't Care what anyone says the people are lovely there and all my neighbours and friends are like family to me and i really miss them.

I traveled to Sydney, Cape Breton Island from Sweden and the UK many times in the mid-1980s. Great and friendly people. My ancestors are McNeils and I guess there are many of my distant cousins there. Are The Mayflower Mall, Smooth Hermans and Joe's Warehouse still the places to be at ? Loved the place and the people in it. Miss you Cape Breton.
