Jesus was a poor child so he was definitely not a jew because the jews were already very wealthy by that time. Dan Summers of Lynchburg, VA owns Quality Archery Design. I am a machine shop owner and tool maker. I built some prototype tooling for Dan. He wrote me a $10,000 bad check and he also shop lifted close to $4,000 worth of tools and jigs then laughed in my face. That's fine, if that's how you see it. It's plain to me. That's why God said the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are pershing. I will gladly be called nieve or a fool for Christ. The only form of hatred is to remain silent and allow people who are already condemned (See John 3:16-18) pass into death without warning them of the wrath to come and the offer of true life and forgiveness in Christ.

However, that can't happen while we're living completely opposed to God. So there must be a shining of the light into darkness that shows a way out of death and into life. Most people won't like that light it hurts the eyes but it's necessary.

If I said we shouldn't smoke cause it causes cancer would I be causing pain and suffering to someone for saying something true and warning someone of potential harm? God is agasinst homesexuality, not because He doesn't like gay people, but because it's harmful. The homosexual lifestyle is unhealthy, unnatural, and unfulfilling. Only a relationship with God and life within His plan is truly fulfilling.

I couldn't help but reply to you kapdog. It's true that all God-fearing religions are to that effect obligated to offer true life and forgiveness to the non-believers, yes. BUT, Falwell did this in all the wrong ways. A true Christian does NOT insult sinners like he did. We mustn't forget 1 John 4:20: "If any one say, indeed I love God, and yet hates his brother, he is a liar." Simply put, Jerry Falwell is a hypocrite.

Hatred is a motive of the heart. I do not disagree that Dr. Falwell said things that should not have been said, or were bad timing or simply were not fruitful for anything but to anger people. However, who has always responded the right way all the time? After 9/11 everyone was emotionally charged and said and thought things out of place. The issue is was Dr. Falwell full of hate or truly was filled with love and spoke truth that people didn't like to hear?

Thousands of kids, teens who just happen to be gay have committed sucide because of the hateful, outragious statements of people like him. 100s of thousands of people have been discriminated against in this country because of this mans hate. So yes, he has caused more pain and suffering than any terrorist has.
