I think I have figure out the name of this music.

It is played in the beginning of the movie Cast Away, with Tom Hanks.

It is peformed by the Soviet Army Chorus and Band, conducted by Boris Alexandrov.

It is called ´'Song of the Plains´'.

Man when u closer ur bullets don hit harder, u just much more accuarte. And dont need fire for cocpit and engine. Sometimes when u attack from up focus on wing and fire full burst in 1 wing from up when near ull get that wing down.

How'd you get kills like that? I've studied this video a few times and tried adapting what you did, but I can't seem to pull it off.

I mean I've managed to maneuver myself into the best positions behind an enemy and go about unloading generous amounts of ammo on them with little to no effect.

Furthermore, I've tried firing slightly above the enemy aircraft, to compensate for bullet fall, but still nothing.

When I do finally get a kill it's after long bouts of stalking and enemy flight error.

when you are behind the enemy try to aim for a concentrated burst of bullets around the cockpit/engine area. Spreading bullets all over the enemy plane typically doesn't do much damage. Also - stay close - your bullets hit harder, you dont have to account for bullet drop, and its easier to aim for specific parts. Good luck! :)

@tetrisclock Forget about the plane, kill the pilot (the rear gunner first if you go after a bomber/recon airplane). Deflection shooting from above or from the sides works well. Try to get as close as posible (20 meters is good) and then unload on the guy.

Thanks. It's André Rieu's version of Poliushko Pole. the tune was chosen only because I like it - and the way it builds up, - did in my mind - fit nicely to a dogfight :)

um actually this is not aces high II it is First Eagles: The Great Air War 1918.........it says that in the description :)

Actually, it's called "First Eagles" and is available from THIRDWIRE. It can be downloaded onto your PC. If you're looking for a game that can be set above Arcade yet not complicated Flight Sim, this is a good one to have. I have Rise of Flight, Over Flanders Fields, and this, and I often play this for basic dogfighting.

No. For Over Flanders Field you have to order the DVD PLUS have a copy of Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 updated version on your PC in order to run.

Hard to say. They all have their good and bad points. Over Flanders Fields seems to be the most popular for now, lots of planes, but it doesn't grab me yet. Rise of Flight has had some teething problems, and it only comes with a choice of 3 planes for now. I use First Eagles because there are a number of downloadable planes from CombatAce- Fokkers, Albatros and the like. So I can fly a nice variety, and the graphics to me are pretty good. IMHO. Hope this helps.
