We pay deposits on the regular stuff, like soda bottles, glass, etc.

I get lucky sometimes, as some stores will accept bottles of stuff they don't sell. That usually does not work: they don't sell a product, you can't recycle that container.

Target in City Center has futuristic machines but they definitely do NOT work all fine and dandy. And @ih8escalators... in NY u hav 2 pay $.05-$.10 extra in NY as a deposit for the bottle and then you get it back by going to the machine like that. NJ doesn't do that...

@dea41396returns I wonder if you are referring to the T-53 from Tomra which I think is a nice machine, never had any big problems. My Target has them and they seem fine. They can be obnoxiously picky, but once you get used to them, they are faster than the Envipco CF-1500.
