@uqLiiDoll i think it's just because she was famous before.i watched interviews of her and she always gives them credit.so i dont think it's her just the media.the guy's name is ben cause she credits him whenn people ask her who writes the song.i also noticed she doesn't just say "i" she says "we" when talking about her band because it really is her band to begin with.but that's just my opinion.watever.hopefully the members will get some recognition soon

@uqLiiDoll That's usually how it goes when your the lead singer, it doesn't make the band less important they work great together but the singer is just more on the foreground. That has nothing to do with Taylor Momsen but the dynamic of a band in general

@uqLiiDoll I hate to be a contrarian but I don't feel the guitar player or the rest of the band are particularly good. This particular perfromance is a prime example of klutzy undynamic guitar playing that I think holds her back. I DO believe that ben is an awesome singer and collaborator but I would like to a much more dynamic group of musicians and Ben just continue to write with her.
