The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all time is a DVD released by Radiohead. A short time ago between Hail to the Theif and In Rainbows the band was promised a sort of TV show/station. So they made a bunch of recordings and shows for it, so of which are on youtube. Unfortunetly the plan never came together and it wasn't aired.

BUT! they realised it in the form of 6 episodes called TMGLMOAT on DVD.

Their record lable discontinued to it because it was too "individual" but you can get it on ebay.

When I used to Substitute teach in Kindergarten classrooms I'd play Radiohead "Amnesiac" and "Kid A" after recess to mellow them out & I know its sounds crazy but the kids loved it. When I would try to turn it off they would complain. Whoever once said Radiohead music was just pompous noise is an idiot. There music is universal. Its beautiful, intense and emotional. Anyone can get it. Anyone who says they don't have just not listened to it enough. They've accustomed their ears to crap.

Sure I love pretty much everything radiohead have done, listened to them in many many years, but I also got to respect people who doesn't like the music. It's very different, Thom's voice is something out of the ordinary. The music can be quite complex, not all like that. Doesn't make them bad in any way

I have another example like that. I co-directed a play where children with special needs participated. The play was about water (in an ecological way) and I decided to include radiohead music. Let me tell you... they loved it! They even asked for CD copies.

What is with general radio music is that they use easy to recognize patterns with an standard buildup, which is not brainwashing. It's just a simpler more relaxed form of music.

When it comes to the music the radio and tv promote it is just rubbish. Two-three notes and lyrics that a baby could write. That's not music to me. A simpler more relaxed form of music? Well, listen to Moby! And I'm not saying all pop is bad. There are some good examples.

In my opinion the general radio music is utmost rubbish. But it's a lot more simple, it got no soul, in my opinion. But it does not make it rubbish for everyone else, there is no objective way to put music in a good or bad way.

For example there's pornogrind, that'll never play on the radio(most likely not at least)

Torsofuck is a band who plays that, I don't like it. But it doesn't make it good because it isn't played on the radio :D
