  • Those scoops in the snow are from the plow (front end loader) just pushing the snow back from the road. He does it like that so that the next time he comes along in the six-wheel tilt-steer plow, he can hit what is remaining close to the road back away from the edge. If all the snow was at the edge it would be very difficult to remove, but since there are the holes, it become easier to keep speed up when plowing.

  • I inquired into the same thing at Dease Lake when I travelled up that way in winter two years ago.

  • You waited at that accident for 4 hours because someone must have been killed and the police have to wait for the coroner.

  • The word was that she did get winged by the truck, but was okay and the wait was for the traffic investigator. Not from any official source though.
