There is no replacement for Batman. Grayson should step up to fulfill the role of the dark knight of Gothem... but as Nightwing, not Batman. Nightwing is his personality... that is who he is. Grayson as Batman is simply Nightwing trying to play Batman.

Be it Robin, Nightwing, etc. It's true that Nightwing would not have the identical impact of the Batman. However, there would be an impact. Different but just as powerful. Batman himself has confessed that Nightwing does indeed have a similar reputation of fear and hope that precedes him all the way from Bludhaven (his city of operation)

One of my favorites, The main thing I like about this story is that its Bruce Wayne's legacy unfolded. Deep deep story. And how each Robin coped with his death. Really cleaver how this was put together. And the villains, the villains, THE VILLAINS!!!, DC keep it up.

One of my favorites, The main thing I like about this story is that its Bruce Wayne's legacy unfolded. Deep deep story. And how each Robin coped with his death. Really cleaver how this was put together. And the villains, the villains, THE VILLAINS!!!, DC keep it up.

@takis7123 its like his mind left his body or something.... i don't remember the details that great, but i remember there was a page where they showed a guy with a beard wearing batman's utility belt drawing superman symbols on a cave wall. his face was shaded, but its pretty obvious it was bruce.

@FoolishInTheEnd You mean Tim Drake? He was a big fan of batman and wanted to be the world's greatest detective and the new robin. He forced Batman to let him be the new Robin by figuring out who batman was and the first robin. He's freakin sweet, my fav robin!

"Tim Drake's the thinker of the bunch" yeah, I love Tim, but Grayson was the best to take Batman's role for a while.... Tim is best as Robin when Bruce is around. ^_^

On Grayson: he decided that there's no one who can fill Batman's shows. He reluctantly takes the cowl. That's pretty wise. On Drake: He deduced the identities of Batman and Robin by himself. He's pretty damn smart.
