Sade no busco reflejar una actitud politica, simplemente al ser humano que abusa del poder del que sido otorgado. Leí el libro, muy fuerte de hecho y esta pelicula se aprovecha solo en el impresionismo con el que el marques impregnaba sus escritos y usa al fascismo como una excusa.

@Kahroozie no I didn't. Marquis is the author of the book. He wrote 120 days of sodom while he was locked up in bastille. He wrote it on a 12 metre long scroll of paper. It was based on true events that happened in the 1700's. Read about the king of France too. During the stormings of the Bastille he thought it was lost forever but it was recovered in 1904 stuffed inside a tube in a bed frame. In 1905 it was published by Iwan Bloch. In 1975 Pier Paolo Pasolini turned the book into a movie.

The story in the book took place in the 1600's. but the guy who wrote it lived in the 1700's and the upper class motto in France during this time was "plaisir a tout prix ": pleasure at any price. Marques de sade even hired beautiful people to work for him in the castle he lived in, they complained of sexual abuse and all ran away.
