cuando no estoy seguro de algo lo digo sin problemas. a Kraus le invitaron? tengo entendido que no. Kraus hibiera hecho de los tres tenores un mejor papel con más arte y canto que los tres juntos a mi parecer, en todos los conciertos de los 3 tenores cantaron casi siempre lo mismo, repitieron mucho. La ópera es muy grande, pero cantaron lo que les venía ya muy practicado según mi parecer para forrarse, y los hicieron muy bien. También cantaron muy bello algunas cosas, todo se ha de decir.

Escuchen la interpretación del año 87 de esta misma que anda por ahí,a ver si no tenía caudal de voz.Los tres tenores maestros indicutidos,para mi gusto falta Alfredo Krauss.Creo que con el estaría completa la cosa.Abrazo

Que musicalidad cuanto talento por Dios!!! A mi me gustaría saber cuantos despues la leucemia que tuvo podrian cantar así.Sin dudas Core N´grato,y Límproviso,fueron escritas practicamente para él.Abrazo para todos,feliz Año!

el vibrato es solo demasiado amplio en el último agudo, pero recordemos que esto no es una ária de ópera sino una canción. si quieres seguridad técnica, mira la versión de pavarotti, si lo que quieres es emoción esta creo que es superior.

Hay algo en él que no me convence...Le falta potencia a su voz, personalidad, brillo...No me gusta para nada su vibrato. Es muy amplio.

The best I've heard so far.... even his own back in the 70's. Probably the difference strives at the feeling.... look at the n'grato at 2:34... he's really telling this damn Catari how dreadful she's been!!! And the end, compare it to the others, even Domingo or Pavarotti (who seem to sing effortlessly compared to Carreras), still better!

SauraE, I agree! Jose sang beautifully that night in Rome, now fully 19 yrs ago. He also did a great job with the Chenier. Now, there are only two left. Bless them all these 3 tenors. That concert began for me my love of opera. Years later I had the great experience, while in Italy, of standing on that stage in Rome and singing for my friends. The place was open to the public and we just walked in.
