well this fight is about 10 years old and mayweather has evolved from a master to a grandmaster. Pacquiao has evolved too in the past 10 years so this would be an interesting fight. Judging from this fight Castillio may have lot of connected punches but mayweather has more clear punches than him.
@mysticadena what i mean on "more clear punches" he throws clearer punches that the judges can easily notice while most of the punches made by castillo were sneaky. It is really a different experience to judge at ringside than on tv, judges don't have a chance to review the rounds.

i think floyd was at his best at 130 and 135, he also was willing to fight the best back then. he doesnt have the same legs or pop he had in the lower divisions and imo that is why he is careful on who he fights now at 147. After watching this fight again, it's clear to me that to give Mayweather problems you need: 1. a decent-jab; 2. STAMINA; 3. the ability to throw combinations, 4. Head movement to avoid some -not all- right hand leads.

In the end with both point reductions on both fighters. Going into the 10th I had it a draw. Castillo had the 11th and the 12th could have gone either way. If not a draw, Castillo won it.

In the end with both point reductions on both fighters. Going into the 10th I had it a draw. Castillo had the 11th and the 12th could have gone either way. If not a draw, Castillo won it.
116-111 just showed plain disgrace judges bring to boxing.

I hate mayweather as much as the next person and after watching this fight I can say it should have went to castillo 115-114, the least a Draw. I don't know what the judges were watching but it clearly was not the fight if they had it 116-111.
The fight was sloppy on both ends, but it was more noticeable on Castillo. Mayweather did have better defense and counter punched pretty good. Castillo although the aggressive one in most of the fight, he didn't land so many punches.
